My book has just been published last week and there's a 30% discount on Amazon.com (was 23$, now 15.50, which is a fair price)

Well, that a better price than the original publisher's listing. Good news and congratulations.

Thanks to all for pointing these out.

Andrea, congrats on your book. Do you know if / when it will become available on amazon.de? It's been listed for some time, but still unavailable.

@charles: Same, unfortunately, with the Treasures book.... listed on amazon.de, but unavailable. I guess it would cost quite a bit of postage?

As for the Forever Young book stephen posted, I think that's a very nice one. Unfortunately I think that (1964) was the last time Bob looked genuinely happy.

In the Works, a chain of of cheap book/gift shops I noticed this large format book in a slipcase. Lots of photos and facsimile memorablia. Reduced from £25.00 to £10.00

Just saw they put this on ebay, for £10.99 plus postage, if anyone outside the UK is interested.
(It has a different cover than the one to be released next month, completist collectors. :P )

@JP: I think it's being shipped. A few sellers in the UK already have it, but not amazon.co.uk and .de. It's only a matter of days.

@Stephen: I publish with an academic publisher, so the hardcover is mainly for libraries. Personally I think it's a little too expensive (and many libraries are buying paperbacks anyway after the crisis), but not much more expensive than other publishers like Routledge or Palgrave. Both at some point were interested in the manuscript but it was a no-paperback offer, so I declined.

BTW I noticed there are some crazy prices from sellers in Amazon who are trying to make a quick buck in this supply bottleneck. We cannot do nothing to stop this, but the book is not a rare book and there are a lot of copies around.

Seasonal sale at amazon.de - three CDs from their sales list at 15€. Has a decent selection of Dylan. I might be getting Brandeis '63, Best of Original Mono & TTS one disc version.

Just make sure to enter amazon via one of the ER front page links, huh?

I think that's the cheapest I've seen it - in case someone wants to get the whole stack.

Good deals there.

A few years ago one of our Vice Presidents at work (who's also a friend) and his wife were having their first child. He always teases me about Bob. If ever I'm out of work - doesn't matter why - he'll ask me (sarcasticly) if I was out traveling to attend some BD shows. "Dylan must be in town", blah, blah, blah!
So I bought a bunch of BD baby stuff and gave it to his wife at the shower.
-Some bibs (one with the HW61 photo printed on it), a bottle, some onesies and pajamas, like the one you pictured with Bob on them, etc. I purposely didn't attach a card to the gift. They'd knew who it was from.

It was the big hit of the shower.

Payback's a bitch.

Too bad. That was the perfect gift for his wife. I think everything I bought was on ebay.

I thought, why not? So I sent a request and received this in the mail today. Can't read a word except verses quoted from Bob's songs. The front and back covers are lovely, though. ;) Thanks JP!

Wow, they sent it all the way?! That's great.
It's about some of the sources Bob used for Workingsman's Blues #2 - Ovid, Merle Haggard's song, a modern Indian author, etc.

I have a couple of Japanese books on BD I bought just for the pictures. I don't have a clue what they say.

Yes.... I have lyrics books in Dutch and Italian, and some books in Spanish and Swedish, but Japanese must be even better. I was going to get Chronicles in Hebrew, but I couldn't find it.
