I think I bought them at a record show here in Boston. It's a good show. I bought an obscure Denny Freeman album for an ER member who collected his early records.

Let me guess who that is. :)
I got some advice today where to get books in Milan.... I'm just glad some people understand the need to buy books you can't read.

I feel better now.

Chronicles in Hebrew...that would be cool. I actually took some Hebrew classes many years ago, in the late eighties, I think. It was very difficult and I've forgotten everything.

Edit: I accidentally posted the eyeroll emoticon from my phone...sorry!

I want to buy one of Bob's New Orleans prints. I like the one of the terra cotta building with the fountain in front of it.

I wish they had posters of all the doors / stairs / buildings once. Those are all nice. I really hope they'll have some eventually.

I just saw that this (hardcover) is on sale on amazon for $7.18, a GREAT deal. It's a very sweet book for a child (or a BD fan). The illustratons are wonderful.

Click the amazon link on the ER front page if you are going to buy it. It helps support the site.

I think when it came out it was almost 20 bucks:

This is a very good price for Bob's 1994 book of drawings, Drawn Blank. It often seems to be offered at several times that price - if not for the high postage from the US to Europe, I'd get it as a spare copy.

Is it printed in German? What's the price equate to in dollars?

No, it's just because I access ebay via their German site that the link is given as ".de". There only was one (US) edition of that book, it's out of print now, and except for a short foreword by Bob it's just the drawings anyway. The book on sale is located in the US, too, so postage inside the US will probably be much lower than to over here. The price given is US $29.27.

Wow! That is cheap. I think it usually goes for $75 bucks or so.

A cautionary tale.

I saw quite a few copies of David Dalton's Who is that Man? Dylan biography reduced from £20.00 to £5.00 in a remaindered stock shop a couple of weeks ago and thought, "I'll pick one up next time I'm passing." I went back today only to find that the shop had burnt down in the interim.
The moral is - grab those bargins when you first see them lest they be engulfed by flames.

That's a great deal. I paid quite a bit for my copy - maybe the equivalent of 50 pounds....

They also have the English version and the 5 Songs book here for 19.95 € each, which is half the original price.
