I have owned this LP for about 35 years now and it seems most of it will be included on the new CD.

A bit disappointing really. At least I guess, I will help top up Bob's pension fund in exchange for 35 years of free listening.

Interesting the weird limbo existence of bootlegs like this, I guess they will increase in value as the decades pass and they come to pre-date official releases of the same material?

Who's the say the existence of these discs don't at times become strong evidence for the profitability of an official release? CBS Records should know its reach still far exceeds CD traders on the freakin internet, and that the number of active torrent hackers is not that high. They just don't know how to appeal to the masses anymore!

Yes that's the album! It's a real good one.

I still have a bunch of these old vinyl albums.

Supposedly the cover on this particular one was taken by Linda McCartney.

And is Bob really picking wax out of his ear with his finger in that photo?

That's pretty disgusting! I wonder if he eats it afterwards?

A better album title may have been "Bob Dylan - Waxes Poetic".

I have owned this bootleg myself for about 30 years. Is it confirmed that the content on here
is the same as much of the soon-to-be-released Witmark Demos? Or just a theory?

All the songs on PINW are Witmark demos or Leeds demos and will be on the new bootleg series release. The soundquality on PINW is very good, much better than on any other bootleg I have heard with this material. I'm curious to know if there will be much difference on the official release.

What would be really cool is a cross-reference between the songs on the new CD release back to bobsboots.com to see all the old bootlegs which contain them.

Anyone have a few hours to do that?

:D
