STARBUCKS is not carrying this one (that I've seen, and asking the staff there would be futile), unlike the last few albums. Anyone picked it up in the big box stores, or even better, any indie record stores?

Unfortunately, you may struggle to get a CD in Canada... although, as you probably know, you can get albums on cassette easily enough... if you want modern formats and technology then you may have to consider moving to another country... good luck, whatever your decision is!
