Wouldn't mind talking to Paul Simon about Boxing either...if he'd be interested. Hell I don't mind talking to anybody about it...provided they actually know what they're talking about, and aren't wasting my time.

If you don't know what you're talking about, and you're just "pretending" to know your stuff about Boxing I'll have you figured out inside 1 or 2 minutes, and I'd just steer the conversation elsewhere, or cut it off altogether.

Even though, I wouldn't ask for anything, I'd
slip it in 'F UCK- would be grand if you released those dates soon...when's it gonna be ??I can't take this wait!!!!!!!! ' , but after say ' Oh sorry, did I say that out loud? I cant go but need to know asap ' then wrap it up and apologize two more times
Really can't go  , but bootlegs.
Oh and rumour somewhere he requests what we wants to hear as fans when he did meet and greets, so Stardust would stir it up ah guess .
If it fits, I'd gently insinuate that I dont have long in this world to enjoy earthly things .Adding softly ' please don't bring back forgetful heart, because don't want to be reminded of my early onset dementia.'
Fortunately not sick, just love to hear Stardust live version played before I'm completely out of my mind and fade away :( ,
but I think he's known for doing good deeds, so win win

If i was walking down the street and he was walking toward
me i'd just let him walk past me.
Not because i think it's a cool thing to do, nor because i'm
ignorant, but i just don't think i'd feel any great urge to
stop him going about his day just to tell him i like his music.
Everyone's different though, i could see why to many people
talking to him might be important.

I think I'd want to say Hi and just say thank you so much, and shake his hand if he seemed friendly.

that's all.

Seeing him live - a bit too late (his voice was a bit...had some damage by then) (2010) ....I was still, even before he started playing,
in absolute AWE, just thrilled to BE THERE in the presence of someone who....

I can't even find words.
I admire Bob Dylan SO MUCH for what he did, yes early on, that,,,he changed everything, as far as I'm concerned. (Okay, him and, maybe John Hammond did more, but NO ONE ELSE!)
I mean...
I never felt that way at any other concert, ever, as the first of the couple times I did see him.
It went beyond the music he was playing.
It was downright gratitude for all the positive social changes he helped bring about, and for writing some of the most timeless songs ever, in his early days. Admiration for that.
The only other artist I've ever admired and seen live, I mean not just been a huge fan of,
would be Link Wray, for reasons I can't explain, either you know his music and what he did, or you don't...
I guess they would be my musical heroes if I have any...

I'd ask him what his deal is. It's the one thing we all really want to know.

Bob, what's your deal?

You'll see providence true,
Another bound by the twins,
Eyes burning with blue

I'd ask him how many protest singers there are.
