She's getting better; some of these are excellent.

I tend to wonder about these folks, both in out midst and on the "outside", if it's really about Dylan at all anymore, or if its more just about attention, any kind of attention

If you aren't trying to get some kind of attenton instead of blogging you would write your whatever on sheets of paper you'd keep in a drawer for a while then burn.

This strikes me as a very literate person who is using the IDEA of Bob Dylan as a sort of point of departure. What's also fun is to watch all the other people who have and never will actually get to meet or know the actual person (former Robert Zimmerman of Hibbiong) show up and claim to know him better.

Not AS funny as the Gypsy's post, but still good for a chuckle.

Yeah, I mean, if you want to get technical, all humans want attention from other humans. What I'm saying is that they dont actually give a shit about Dylan, or George Clooney, or whatever celebrity that they decide to attach to

Oh, I definitely think this crazy chick wants to "Hib-biong" him alright! I saw one letter that called Bob something like "the lord of my Panties" and wondered if it was our own Panties?! They're both in Arizona, am I right?

Could you imagine consistently putting up with this kind of thing for almost fifty years?

Sure, what's the problem?

It wouldn't have anything to do with "me," it would all be about the carefully constructed persona and mythos I intentionally developed and crafted for almost the last 50 years.

ack!!! it's not me... it's all i can do just to get my homework done... and i don't really consider myself crazy... just loveably quirky and such.

allllllthough, if bob wanted to be the lord of my panties, i wouldn't argue with that. :P

I didn't really think it was you, just thought it was a funny coincidence. Your posts are much too fun, whereas those letters really bring a girl down. I'd much rather be happy about all Bob gives us...and panties are as good a way as any to celebrate :D

yanno it's kinda funny, i have been a total klutz the past two days... i cut my hand when my window crank on my car broke, and then when i was bringing in groceries yesterday i slipped on a frozen pea on the floor (from breakfast!) and hit the edge of the damn doorframe and now have a really sick looking bruise on my arm...

just call me grace. no actual undie accidents though. but i'll keep you posted.

......as much as I'd like to think of something erotic about eating frozen peas for breakfast I'm drawing blanks.....are you sure it wasn't something else you slipped on?

i'm a vegetarian dear, but i do eat cheese and eggs, so usually for breakfast i throw some kinda veggie in the eggs... and i like peas (especially those ones with the tiny onions in 'em)! but nope, it really was a pea... i found it after i'd about done the header on the floor (there, you can make something erotic outta that) :P

awww... i have left over soy dogs from grilling last night ste baby, you want one?...

i tell ya what rainy, i'll rewrite the whole thing and it will go like this:

i was just finished doing trapeze yoga and was about to go get all soapy in the shower when i slipped on a peeled grape that accidentally popped out of my navel, and bruised my arm on my 152 position kama sutra sex chair.

better?

and now that i've completely destroyed this thread with my flaming narcissism, my work here is done.
