Well.. I’ll look like a baby compared to some, but here’s mine….

7/27/07 Tucson, Arizona
10/23/02 Tucson, Arizona

I had such a fabulous time at both!...

I must say I enjoyed the ’07 show the most. I have terrible eyesight but managed to get a seat in the 4th row, so he wasn’t just a blur this time… and I stood through the whole thing (thank the universe I was on the aisle all the way to the left of the stage, so no one complained) and danced and just had a marvelous time.

The one in ’02 was only slightly more memorable, because I went without a ticket (it was sold out) but managed to hook up with someone in the parking lot and snag one in the 20th row. We had to hide from security (they throw out scalpers at AVA) so it was like a sexy drug deal… rofl… What I remember most?.... Bob doing “Brown Sugar” (of all things) and how crazy everyone went, and the drunk girl next to me nearly vomiting on me. After security helped her leave, a hot guy from New Mexico sneaked over and sat next to me… lol.. He was way too young for me to hit on, but we had a nice conversation about the general fabulousness of Bob at any rate….

Funny thing is, I remember about every song from these lists. Kind of funny to go back and take a look at the set lists and see what has changed and what has stayed. Also thinking about arrangments in the songs. I wish Bob would go back to opening with something like HUmming Bird, Hallelujah or Duncan and Brady, always found those enjoyable. Anyways, hope he keeps playing, would love just a few more shows.

Lucky you :D I would have loved to have been there.

I've only been to:

Birmingham UK NEC 21st November 2003
Birmingham UK NEC 18th November 2005
Birmingham UK NIA 17th April 2007

I hope to go to some more next year.

I've been lucky enough to see Dylan at the shows below. The 1981, 1990, 1995 and 2000 shows/tours were, in my opinion, the better ones and I really loved the November 2003 Wembley arena show - even over the three smaller 'club' shows as his voice was deteriorating from one to the next.

I saw Bob Dylan rehearsing at Carolyn Hester's place on September 14, 1961. I felt that he was a unique talent and phoned John Hammond, who was a friend of mine at the time, to come over and take a listen.
The rest is history.

First post here, but I have really enjoyed all the great stuff here...
I have attended several shows in Italy during the 90's, then stopped but I feel the 2007 concerts are good. I hope to see him again in 2008 after a 10 years absence

Bologna, June 1991 (tour with VM)
Correggio, July 1992 (awful show to be honest)
Pisa and Milan, June 1993
Sanremo and Milan, July 1994
Ferrara 1996 (best one I have been to and an amazing tambourine man)
Bologna 1997 (the show with the Pope)
Verona 1998

Cheers
Andrea

What's the opinion of the bootleg afficionados of summer Toronto/2000 @ Molson Ampitheatre? My memories are of an electric Drifter's Escape (how often does he play that?) and a gorgeous harmony on Blowin' in the Wind.
Phil Lesh played after him and that's when me and my friends left.

Bok Elbereth!
Did he ever play in Croatia? I guess the roman theatre in Pula would be a fantastic place...

Montpellier '95 (he played inbetween the Black Crowes and the Stones. He joined Mick and the guys later to guest on their version of Like A Rolling Stone and forgot the words (pissed maybe? he looked it) it was a bit embarrassing

2003, Feb 21st, Auckland, New Zealand
2007, Aug 11th, Auckland, New Zealand

Wish I had seen more in the in between years but I went off Bob when God came along and only got back to him in the last few years. Now I really like the gospel albums too.

Yeah, I've been to enough and in my opinion there has been a steady decline in the last few years.
I'll still go to the odd pre-show meet to see friends, but I can't bring myself to attend a show again.
