I think its rather unlikely that the likes of Bob Dylan came about by chance. However there is no doubt that the Bob Dylan of today is different from say 10 years ago. We all evolve, no-one stays the same. Maybe that's what evolution is about.

Just one small provocative question. If the universe is so old, how come there is so little dust on the moon? They designed the lunar lander for 5 feet of the stuff when in reality there was only half an inch.

Hmmm.
Earth is considerably younger than our galaxy, which of course is younger than the universe. The moon being a part of the earth flung out into orbit must be younger than earth.
The moon orbits earth without having it's own rotation so it should be shielded by the earths body a great deal.
Then space is a vacuum and though that vacuum is not complete there might not be much dust flying around. If it does it should gravitate to bigger bodies first which again would be the earth.

Ahhh this is too hard, let's talk Dylan!

Agreed Wayfaring Stranger. None of this really matters. I wonder, though what BD's views are on this subject

'inner space' hsn't been mentioned yet, the 'imagination'

I'm sure B Dylan would approve.

HI by the way, new to the forum, the names Don.

Not sure why I joined, been listening to his stuff for about a year now, always been a rock fan, just got blown away by the combination of words and music, have 6 cd's so far and a compilation, just can't define what draws me in.

Don

Hi Don and welcome!
It isn't all that easy to explain why one is drawn to Dylan, is it? Many people i've met have a hard time understanding it - poor bastards. Thank God Bob is hip again these days, that makes it easier. So if you find a better definition let me know, i might have to use it.

Cheers, WS
