Hi Everyone-

Just wondering what people's favorite Bootlegs were? As we all know Dylan is the most "pirated" artist in history (according to Jeff Rosen), so I'm sure there are a lot of opinions. Just curious to see what everyone says: BEST BOOTLEG???

Some good ones:

Knight Of The Hurricane (12/8/75)
Dylan / Cash Sessions
All three Gaslight Tapes
A Phoenix In April (from Sydney, 4/13/66)
Any of the Supper Clubs

And two of the best early Bob boots are the Finjan Club (7/2/62) and the Gerde's Folk City one from '63.

after the Bootleg Series it's difficult to say, but the best bootleg ever - regardless its partial release in the BS - was and remain, for me,:
*Knight Of The Hurricane*.

Hiroshima 1994, worth owning just for 'Series Of Dreams'.
Radio City 1988 is great, Across The Borderline 86, for earlier
shows, 'We Had Known A Lion '65', and 'Knight Of The Hurricane'.
I liked the 1981 shows too, and although marred by some tragic
events, Avignon '81, his vocals throughout that show were perhaps
the best i've ever heard him. Oh and 'Border Beneath The Sun 78'
is a must hear bootleg.
