I don't think I've seen a hatless one of that day before.... I may be wrong. Anyway, if I didn't have a great desktop background pic from last tour, the first of the above would be it.

I do wish they'd released a DVD of the TOOM sessions film Lanois's brother shot with Tell Tale Signs instead of those useless books. That would have been worth paying full price.

Oh, yes! At The Last Waltz. I could never understand what he was doing there! His presence always seemed to me so out of place! Seemed to me he didn't match with the concert's atmosphere. Only my opinion, of course!

I seem to remember hearing along the way that he was working with Robbie Robinson on a project at the time..... not exactly sure if that is right.... don't give up too much memory room to Neil... :P

There must have been some reason he was invited.

I read that he was in invited by Robbie because he had just produced Neil's latest album. I think that the others in The Band were opposed to the idea.

Tell me more about these room sessions and the filming of them. I've never heard of it.

There isn't much more to tell. In the end Bob demanded they hand over the tapes, and that was the last that was heard of them. They must be somewhere in his vault.

Very interesting. Where did you learn of this? Can I read more about this in a book or website? How about a dvd.

The man is a chameleon - ever changing - how can one person have so very many different looks? I'm not talking about just the ones above - but during all of his various periods.
