Ok... the 'url' is the link.

This is a 'url.

www.expectingrain.com

It's just a link.

When you go to properties you will see Adress(url):

for example you will see this as a link.

http://www.expectingrain.com/images/topbanner_01.jpg

Good chances it will end with jpg, but it could end with others.

And to copy it, just highlight it, then right click, and click 'copy'. And to paste, click where you want to paste it, then right click, then click paste.

someraven, you can do it. just try one more time. this works if you have windows. if you are running mac os then someone else can help.
1) find a suitable picture
2) right click that picture
3) select: 'copy image location'
4) post a reply in ER by using this,

first type in '[img]' without the quotations
then paste the image location by pressing and holding CTRL and pressing the letter V
at this point you should see a URL (as tambo explained) and then end it with '[/img]' without the quotations. c'mon, raven. you can do it!

well it seems like the picture that you have there is in it's original size so making it bigger would just distort it. you don't want that now do you?

My favorite picture has always been that famous one by Daniel Kramer...the one where his grinning face is mostly hidden by one of his hands. Duluth, the last one you posted is outstanding!! A heartbreaker, for sure!

It...appears to be an oversized pocket lighter.

Fantastic pictures, by the way, this thread ought to come with a warning for those with heart conditions.
