It's funny (and frustrating) that they say this will be the last "standard" release of Drawn Blank images. That suggests a door remaining open to more medium and large format images still being released. I hope that's not the case; I think this is a great time to bring the series to an end....grave

Leaks suggest that these images will be variations of the 'Best of" the past ten years of Drawn Blank rather than a set of new images.

The new Bell Tower in Stockholm and Sunday Afternoon compliment each other and look very nice hung together. Sunflowers has been going through some changes since its first outing in 2009, but even though the new one is lovely I still prefer the first version. And Bob's corrected the spelling of Dad's Rest(a)urant.

Yes, to my eye, Bell Tower and Sunday Afternoon are perhaps the two that most show the new (Beaten Path) technique with the old (Drawn Blank) images. Perhaps Sidewalk Cafe should be added to that list. The new Rose (with a very different lower portion) is also quite striking.

I know that this is a pretty easy source of income for Dylan, but there are countless things that he could do to make more money; the fact that he spent time creating new originals of these images in the last 18 months suggests that he actually enjoys the work and is proud/fond of the Drawn Blank series....grave

I find many of the new ones to be the best versions yet. The new Sidewalk Cafe blows away my 2016. I might have to upgrade. I don't think getting the new one and keeping the old one is an option as the new one will make the 2016 look like doo doo if they're viewed together.

I agree that some of the new images are the best yet, especially Rose, Sunflowers, and Sidewalk. Although, I still love Sidewalk 2016, so I wouldn't worry about having the two together.

I still think that I like Sunday Afternoon 2014 the best, among the many different versions. And while I do really like the new Bell Tower, I think that I might still prefer the earlier version released.

I have never been drawn to the Pool, Man, Bicycle, Restaurant, or Woman images, so I guess that the Train Tracks portfolio is the other really intriguing set of images; they may not be all that different from earlier versions, but it's still such a great image, especially for Dylan....grave
