I'm fairly new to collecting shows. Got a good start with the five Dylan shows I've seen in person (thus far) and some assorted stuff I've found online. Can anybody tell me the best way to play flac files? Thanks a bunch!

On your computer, you can use WinAMP like you would WMP. If you want to put FLACS on CD, you can use CD Burner XP to burn directly without conversion. If you want to convert the FLACS to mp3 or other wee file sizes, try SWITCH which makes conversion easy:

www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html

All three are freeware. Traders little helper is good too, but I find SWITCH more straightforward.

switch will also play the flac files, which I've only recently realized. very user friendly.

Download SWITCH, Mississippi. It's great--plays flacs--but I use it to convert the FLACS to (lossless) AIFF files, which iTunes will play.

Awesome! Thank y'all so much. Am downloading the Switch right now and will soon get to hear a couple of shows that have been collecting dust on my desktop. Thanks again, folks!
