I got this yesterday while posting a word in 'word a time story' ...just a normal word.

Must have been a little glitch in the phpBB software.. I have never heard of anyone had this before. I'm sure it won't happen again.

Was it a rude word?

I am as open-minded as the next guy, but I don't want to see smut, filth and rude words all the time... there is a time and a place for such behaviour... and I hardly think that ER is the appropriate forum for such obscenity... there may be children or christian folk reading these threads... what sort of impact would your debauched posts have on them?

I, for one, am very proud of the stand ER has taken in banning your obscene posts... you may like to live a decadent, bohemian lifestyle... but don't try and ram it down our throats.

Oh, now what am I gonna do???? I was just getting ready to make what could be considered a quite obscene and maybe evey debauched post as an invitation to you, tb...... but now that I have been told that such post have no place here on this board I cannot invite you to join me in running away to live a decadent boheimian life with me.............. my plans and smashed.......... oh my, it is causing me quite a bit of distressfulnesslessness, but I will survive.

Your post was quite timely..... in one way you have helped me to avoid making such a grand error, in another you have lost perhaps one of the more interesting invitations that was ever almost offered...... ah, such is life

I think I know what BD is talking about. When you write a post (in this case, a word to word at a time) and then hit the submit button, a message will sometimes come up telling you that another post has been submitted ahead of the one you wanted to submit and it will ask you if you still want to submit yours. Then you have the opportunity to read the post or posts that have been submitted before yours and change yours if you like.

In word at a time thread, this happens a lot because the thread moves at a faster pace since the posts consist of only one word. So the interruption of the message is a good thing as it allows you to change you word if the intervening word is the same as yours or if your word no longer makes sense in the story line.

Hm, no leocadia, that wasn't the reason. I was all alone at that moment in that thread.
I was a bit confused.

No. I'm sorry. I've seen many-a brilliantly hilarious thickboy posts. This isn't one of them.
I mean it doesn't rate the one  that Sir Dogg gave it much less your fawningly apparent five said laughy thingies you gave it. Embarrassing really.
I feel it my duty to point out when tboy fails to live up to his own lofty standards!

honestly Betty, i don't know how you get yourself into these circumstances. i'm not sure how it happened or what it means, but it's very likely that you should probably do penance.

Do you have any photographic evidence to help you substantiate this rather erotic claim, BettyDavis?
