What do you think of the new method of quoting, where both ends come up and you click between and insert? Instead of the old time-waster where you had to press quote, insert, and then press quote again?

On my computer, when you quoted someone you had to press "quote" and then insert the quote and then press "quote" again. Now two "quotes" come up and you click between them and insert your quote.
I see it as more of an aesthetic change than anything, because the same energy is exerted.

Would someone tell me how to insert the name in the grey band when quoting?

When you quote someone's post it's automatic.

It looks like this (take out the *)
[*quote="Nero's Neptune"]Would someone tell me how to insert the name in the grey band when quoting?
Notice that at the beginning, Nero's Neptune is in quotation marks after the = but before the ]

I can change it to Frank like this -
Frank wrote:
Would someone tell me how to insert the name in the grey band when quoting?

Or
[*quote="Frank"]Would someone tell me how to insert the name in the grey band when quoting?
I do not feel comfortable quoting or reading quotes unless permission has been obtained from the said originator of the quote... as Capote once said "do not rob me blind by lifting my words to vocalise your own arguement"... and I feel the same regarding this.
