When I returned to my inbox from checking a new message the notice was gone so I don't have the exact wording. It was something like "one new message has been blocked by message filter". Is someone sending me spam? Nasty messages? Nasty messages? Or what?

Could it have been the message telling you that one of your PMs had been removed 'cause you reached the limit of PM storage?

Lily, by default it will begin to delete from the oldest PM on (up to 100 per folder) unless you set your controls otherwise.

that's interesting - i just checked and although my settings are to delete the oldest messages when the folder is full that simply doesnt happen - i know coz a while ago my folder filled up and i missed a couple of PMs so i had to delete the older ones manually, i wonder why this is so?

I had a similar issue where I tried to send a message to someone just asking if I was sending the PM correctly since I'm trying to figure out how to do things (let's hope this posts!), but when I went to read their response, it said "This message has been removed by its author before it was delivered."

Actually, you can set the PM preferences to dump out the oldest when you reach capacity.

Hi, Erica - Looks like you deleted it before it was sent.

The question like the one you were asking in your PM should really be asked here rather than to a someone who may not know the answer. That's what this section is for. We're happy to help out new members when we can. Ask away!
