Bob Dylan, you are the most amazing performer ever ever ever! No one else even comes close (except Johnny Cash). May God keep on blessing you.

Yes, exactly (and Johnny Cash didn't even come close)

Yeah, guessing (and hoping) that it is a one-off.

Great cover. Band is rocking and Bob sounds really good. I'd even say his voice sounds a tad better and clearer on this than on a lot of his other recent live material.

This cover also shows this band and Bob could really do some more rockers and sound great. But we can only wish...

Thanks to Bob for the beautiful tribute.

Unless Bob replaces all the Sinatra slots with Petty songs in which case it's a fantastic idea.

That would be amazing; I wouldn't expect it, but he could still play this again, or do more of Tom's songs. Little Steven's done Even The Losers to open every show since Tom passed; there's no reason Bob couldn't do something similar, if he wanted.
Bob gave a really beautiful performance regardless, a wonderful tribute.

more videos since the first one BTW:

I'd love it if Bob has a professionally filmed video of this, or at least the audio.

Thanks for posting! Sounds like another crackerjack set. The new arrangement of Honest With Me is far superior to the original (and the 2014 version), and the cover of Learning To Fly is one for the ages. I can't wait to be in St. Paul on Wednesday night!

A few days late on the report, but had an absolutely phenomenal time. I can echo other reports that Bob is in fine, fine form and the structuring of the American Songbook material as interlude material really helped keep the energy up. Folks I went with who weren't familiar with his last few albums found that stuff all fun and amusing. Highway 61 Revisited was a particular highlight for the crew I was with- great for singing along and dancing around. My whole section was totally into the show - makes for a much better experience than the (occasional) experiences of audience bewilderment.

Most of the new arrangements landed - I particularly enjoyed the more upbeat Things Have Changed. Encore was obviously brilliant, especially with the surprise at the end. I've seen Bob my share of times now, but this will rate as a very special performance in my memory.

And, yeah, Mavis was unbelievable. Worth the price of admission alone. An extraordinary figure of social and historical import herself, and she's still got the pipes. Everyone I talked to was blown away. And she kept calling Dylan "bobby" which I found extremely amusing.

Glad you made it Flexer.
Appreciate the shared thoughts!
Always good when the audience is into it!
Good you steered clear of the conversationists and statues.

What's wrong with you tapers in America? Are you on strike? :) We need a recording of this show please?

Hey, did anyone happen to record or at least write down Mavis' setlist for this show? It was great, but I can't recall a couple of the songs played already.
