I'M OVER THE MOON NOW!!!!! I'm REALLY going to my first Dylan concert next year!!
(Concerning 12th grade students, April is the most unfortunate month he could have possibly chosen, though... Well, screw the finals.)

And I'm also hoping for more dates for all the non-Italian, non-German and non-Portuguese fans, of course!

"MY" tour is complete. I'll be probably in Lisbon, Leipzig, Bielefeld, Nuremberg and Baden Baden ...

I wish some of those German tour dates were more accseeable from London - don't think there's any direct flights to any of them and the train journeys take forever!

At least you can fly into Düsseldorf which is rather close to Krefeld (train ride 30 mins.), Nürnberg has an airport, mayby Easyjet is landing there?, and the Airport Halle/Leipzig is, of course, close to both of them cities.

edit:
Heathrow - Düsseldorf = Eurowings
Stanstead - Nürnberg = Ryanair
Stanstead - Leipzig = Ryanair

(all without warranty)

next edit:
Stanstead - Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden = Ryanair

another edit:
Neu-Ulm is far away and Bielefeld non-existent according to the Bielefeld conspiracy (see elswhere)

ticket prices for Bielefeld are: 48,65 - 140,65 Euros

by the way: Neu-Ulm is just a one hour's train ride from Stuttgart and 1,5 hours away from Munich

from ISIS:
"I am also hearing that the promoter has been asked to look at the viability of summer shows in Europe based around festivals. The three-day Pori Jazz Festival, which Bob played in 2014, is one of the festivals that has been mentioned but as far as I’m aware as yet there are no firm bookings. A summer tour does, however, appear to be coming together." (see: https://www.bobdylanisis.com/access-all-areas-blog/ )
The Pori festival has been discussed above and we more or less agreed that this might be a mistake/misinterpretation.

great!

Looks like a sports hall, so wonder what the sound will be like. Apparently there's a capacity of about 3000 so will be quite an intimate show at least

article seems to confirm a show in Vienna, too, but doesn't say the date for that

Swap to CzechAnother musical legend will go to Brno. Promotion agency Glanc confirmed that they were able to negotiate on April 15, 2018 the singer and holder of the Nobel Prize for Literature Bob Dylan. He will perform in the Vodov sports hall.

Dylan's concert was intended to be organized by organizers in Brno nine years ago. Due to the insufficient capacity that the Brno halls could offer, it ultimately preferred Ostrava. Now the paradoxically limited capacity for Brno is an advantage.
"This year, he tells us that Bob Dylan likes to play in more relaxed spaces. Originally, the O2 arena was considered, but it did not suit his expectations. In addition, he will play in Vienna from where he will be close to Brno, "Aleš Hrbek from Glanc explained.
The ice hockey DRFG Arena was in Brno first. However, since the play off will play at that time, the selection of the Vodov sports hall has taken place, which will accommodate about three thousand spectators.
"There will be an exciting space where people will have Bob at almost club distance," Hrbek said. One of the greatest musical personalities to him and his collaborators took four months.
Tickets will be sold in three price categories - for 1,690 crowns, 1,990 and 300 premium tickets for CZK 2,390

Here's the link to what is considered as the Bielefeld Conspiracy, but still the story might be true.

Strange thing is that I saw Bob there some years ago... But still, you never know. Could have been a hologram.

I wonder if the tour will begin earlier in March and play Portugal and more places in Spain then after Barcelona (the last date) go over to Italy.

Is it possible to play Australia in May?

Where else would he go before the US in Summer.

He did surprise us with Canada this year.
