Last time a EU started in Italy was in 1991, unless I am forgetting something? Judging by tourig patterns since then, a tour start in Zürich or any other neighboring Swiss city sounds plausible and then a move South to Italy? Unless of course they start considerably earlier than the first week of April (which was pretty much standard the last few years) and start up in say, Spain.

Swiss start is sound rather unlikely – what's the sens in starting in Switzerland, then go to Rome and after Rome heading North again? I'm pretty sure they'll start in Rome (unless he goes to Israel or Greece before) and then the tour will move uo north. The only question right now is: are they going left or right after Milan. Left would be Switzerland, southern France and Spain; right: Austria and Eastern Europe

Assuming there will be more announcements this week, maybe even tomorrow, and these announcements won't concern Germany but rather

Switzerland
Austria
Hungary (Budapest)
Romania (Bucuresti)
Poland
Czech Republic (Praha, Brno)
Slowakia (Bratislava)
or any of the former Yougoslawien countries

does anybody know how to obtain tickets the best way in those countries?

I've never been there before save Austria, where buying tickets was always a mess even years ago.

It was already a mess with Ticketone in Italy. Can it be worse ?

Just give us the dates please! And all in one go would be preferable. Why is it like this every European tour? Why is it impossible for BobDylan.com to present the entire tour a couple of weeks before all the tickets go on sale?

The Milan-show is sold out yet. So maybe there will be another Milan-show the next day (10.4.).

it used to be like that and now it goes like this…

seriously I guess it has something to do with different local promoters, resellers etc. It's easier to announce all shows at the same time with only one reseller like ticketmaster.com

that said I'm sure more shows will be announced quite soon

When I did the Vienna Stadthalle in 2014 I ordered my tix on line direct via the venue and had no probs. I'm hoping for some more dates this week!

@h.egbert

Most countries have their own eventim-sites:

Italy: http://www.ticketone.it/

Austria: http://www.oeticket.com/

Switzerland: http://www.ticketcorner.ch/

Hungary: http://www.eventim.hu/hu/

Poland: http://www.eventim.pl/

Romania: http://www.eventim.ro/ro/

Slovakia: http://www.eventim.sk/

A Czech eventime-site I couldn't find. But If you look at the official bobdylan.com-site and you go to the tour dates, there's a link to the ticketing for every show.

Thank you. First, it's good to know that there are - hopefully in English - sites one can use to buy tickets at all. But my experiences in the last years with eventim.de were bad. Really bad. While an other platform (Ticketmaster, if I remember well) was quick with providing a seating chart you could choose your ticket from, eventim came up with the chart 20 minutes or so late and all decent tickets were gone. Most likely to their own secondary scalping platform. So any information of other sellers are welcome, too.

@dvdunplugged: Buying tickets in Wien directly from the venue, I thought of that, too. Worth a try (in case it's nessecary). Unfortunately I can't do that in other countries, except for the German speaking part of Switzerland.

@dylaned (if you read this): out of curiosity, what is the situation in Italy like? Are there other possibilites than buying tickets via ticketone from abroad? Another platform? The venues themselves? Not that I'm going there this year. non è vero, andrò, ma solo per le vacanze

Last year, I think it was the beginning of February, the booking for the 3 Palladium-shows in London started at 10 o'clock (English time).

At 10 o'clock I was there and tried and tried and tried to get tickets via ticketmaster.uk but there was no chance. At 10.30 o'clock I had a phone call with ticket-master and they told me, there are no tickets remaining. On boblinks.com I discovered that tickets were sold from the venue directly (it's called really useful theatres). So about 10.30 o'clock I tried to get tickets on this way - it also wasn't easy, but after all it worked - I didn't get the best tickets, but really good ones.

^ That would be fabolous. Last time was 2015, I think, so not so long ago, but I'd go immediately, especially if there were to be more concerts in my vicinity. Eastern Europe has a lot of free spirit to share with Bob.

Dylan has played Ljubljana before so don't give up hope. As bobschool said you live in a very beautiful part of the world. I have been to Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj and some of the ski-ing areas, spent the day in Ljubljana!

Hi guys this is my first post on the forum, does anyone think Bob might come back to Ireland in 2018?
I didn't get to see him live this year as I had an exam the next day :x

rather unlikely, I'd say. ISIS mentioned that the forthcoming tour is likely to focus on placed Bob didn't perform in 2017 and that there are no plans for shows in the UK (see: https://www.bobdylanisis.com/access-all-areas-blog/ (8.Nov)). I know that Ireland is not part of the UK but I guess it's very unrealistic to expect shows in Ireland without UK shows…
Thus we should expect a tour focussed on South West and/or East Europe.

If there is a tour which includes shows in Germany (München, Stuttgart or such cities) I wonder (not really) what the reports will be like.

After listening to one of the recent US concerts, I'm sure people will say that they not only did not recognized the older songs (to Tangled Up In Blue) but neither the newer ones (from Time Out Of Mind onwards).

Bob almost always plays Ireland on European tours where he doesn't play the UK. Usually Dublin or Cork.

Just showed No Direction Home here on cable and have heard a few Dylan songs on the radio. Last time NDH aired a tour was announced a couple of months later. He has toured here pretty regularly since '91 - every 4 to 5 years approx. We are heading into that territory.

I was wondering the same and thus did a little research. As far as I can see it happend only once in 2014 when Bob played Cork as well as Dublin before flying to Turkey not playing any UK show.
