I attended my 50th show Sunday in Barrie, ON. It was the first time I've seen two posters for the same show - same design, different color scheme. The guy at the merchandise booth said they printed 100 posters total. Needless to say, I bought one of each.

I'm sure multiple designs isn't unique but I'd appreciate any insight anyone can offer. Thanks.

Same in Montreal, poster was available in blue or in red.

Thank you for the quick reply ... guess it's something new because outside of 2011, I've seen him play at least once a year since 2002.

Thanks, slewan. I saw him three times last year - Indianapolis, Dayton and Asheville - and only saw one poster displayed at each show. Maybe there have been two for a while but this is the first I've seen two displayed.

I stopped buying posters but back in 2011 I remember a mate of mine buying a red poster and a blue poster for the Dylan / Knopfler show at Hammersmith.

I just framed my concert poster from the Montreal show and put it in my art studio. Looks amazing ! :D

Looks good. I have eight framed but at least a dozen more in a drawer somewhere, not including the two from Barrie. Think my favorite is from the California Mid-state Fair in 2003, which is featured in the "Tell Tale Signs" book.

I used to buy them at every show but now just go for special designs, venues, locations or opening acts. Really wish I'd bought several I passed on, but what good are they in a drawer?

That's the same as my situation, just ran out of room on the walls of my 'bobroom' and they just ended up not being displayed. Lille 2006 is on display at the moment.
