No more Playboys and Playgirls and there isn't Blind Wille McTell as one of the ER users had stated. I hope this one is wrong, but....

The real setlist was this, I believe. It's possible I may have a couple of songs out of order, but this is everything that was played. Bob on piano for every song.

Things Have Changed

If that is true, this must be his best set list in years

Any harmonica on Simple Twist of Fate?

No, it didn't seem like there was even a harmonica on stage, unfortunately! His guitar was sitting right behind him the entire night though, and he kept walking over and looking at it between songs, but never played it. I was right at the front, and was pleasantly surprised by the crowd. Most of them were in their 20s/30s and knew very little about what Bob has been doing lately, but still seemed to love it. This compares favorably with the Mann Center show last year, when I sat in front of a very jaded elderly gentleman who felt the need to complain loudly for the entirety of every Sinatra song  . All in all, I've seen Bob 13 times (starting in 2009), and these were the most committed performances of songs from his back pages I've ever seen him give in-person. It was also pretty exciting to see the road crew making last minute changes to the setlist, and then watch the band run over to Bob constantly for instructions on what to play next. It felt like anything could have happened. To me, the songs which hadn't previously been played this year seemed too well-rehearsed to be thrown aside after this one performance (compared with the 2015 festivals, for example, where some of them felt a bit uneven or rushed), so hopefully we'll hear more of them.

Yes, glad no Sinatra. Enough.
He's still hanging quite close to the core static lists of this decade, though.
Still waiting for a reach down deep into the chestnut bag.

yeah, I'd take that setlist any day over the Frank stuff,
but he does take care singing the standards.

Hmm, this setlist has me rethinking my 'just say no to summerfest' position.
Would be nice to hear a little hard rain again.

Just wondering if there any ER members at this show who could perhaps confirm what arrangement was Blind Willie McTell played in? If it was the "jumpy" version that was a regular from 2011 - 13 or mor more like the slower, traditional arrangement? Just wondering because it would be a novelty to hear Bob play Piano on this arrangement when in the past it was always done with Bob "centre stage on Harp". Wonder if they did the false endings with Bob soloing on Piano??

The Firefly version was similar to the "jumpy" version that you mentioned. However, it seemed to me that the tempo was slowed down a little bit, compared to those of former years. I don't recall whether or not they used the false endings (possibly just one-hopefully a recording comes out to confirm). Bob didn't seem to know which direction to take this one in, vocally, so it didn't stick in my memory quite as much as the rest of the performances that night, which were at a very high level.

Am I correct that no complete recording of this show is in circulation? Did this show really happen?

I found some videos in YouTube and downloaded them in my hard disk. "Hard Rain", "Simple Twist" and something more. But any recording hasn't surfaced yet...

I was riding in an elevator in Wallingford, CT, with a couple of Bob's security team, who were talking about how something had happened at this show and he how ended it early, "I don't blame him"....

wow that thin man has the venom it was built for, don't know why,
but this was right after the strange times after the x wussies diatribe of his nobel lecture (goygeous)
and hey, the kids these days need a poke to punk up their medi(c)ated lives

george is hilariously sarcastic keying off bob's punching out the lyrics
and george never comments unless it means something,
he's so existential right
loves thems guys

Oops sorry for the late reply. No I didn't make it to any. Had a tough travel schedule this summer and missed most every music event I put on my calendar. But I will make amends with the gaping hole in my heart this fall! Just need them to post some dates.
We will be on the east coast for thanksgiving this year, and in our usual spot for Halloween. I hope Bob pays attention this time. Boston would be easier than NYC for thanksgiving week, so I hope he comes around. I miss him. :D

Glad you saw that post. Ha!
Hope you make it somewhere.
City shows aren't really my preference, but I usually still go.
Boston is less of a pain-in-the-ass than NYC though.
