Excuzez-moi, 'dawlink' is "darling" in the accent of Eva Gabor

Is the tour program worth buying? I purchased three or four of them in the last ten years or so and was always diappointed. It was always the same stuff recycled over and over again. At least this time it seems to have a new cover (at least it's new to me).

I don't think so - I bought one about eight years ago and from what I've seen they haven't changed much. A poster of the actual gig you're attending would seem a better bet.

Now I have a question about merchandising, t-shirts in particular! Do people buy a size larger when buying t-shirts from a gig than they would do in a high street store. If I buy a tea shirt in John Lewis or Marks and Spencer a Large t shirt is perfect. However, ones from merchandising seem to be smaller these days so to get the same size I need to purchase Extra Large. Guillaume, if you see someone at the Zenith comparing Large and Extra Large shirts then it's probably me!

If you see her, say hello. Exactement, go for the XL, if worst comes to worst there's no way the fabric won't shrink if you wash it in warm and tumble dry on high.

This years is a new programme, at least.

Last year I bought one and was dissapointed to find out when I got to my seat that it was the exact same as the one I bought at another gig (on another continent!) a year previous.

This year has some new photos I'd never seen before, some comments from other musicians RE Dylan and mention of the Nobel prize.

Can't believe the Sheriffs badges are a thing, does anyone buy those!?

i can see on the picture that they are selling harmonicas from the signature series. do you know if they sell them in different keys ? i bought one in C a few years ago ( it was the only available key at the time in this series ), but i know that now, those harmonicas are available on the official store in every keys ... that could be a very nice memory to bring back from the show, but of course, i don't want another C again ... do you know if different keys are available on the tour merch table ??? thanks

Thanks for the great photo!

Posters only 10 euros? that's $10.69 U.S., we've been paying $20 or maybe $25 here in the states!

Depends on where in Europe. I've seen prices change from country to country.

guillaume,
Did you go? Did you buy anything? The last things I was able to afford at the merch table were the small eye logo patches. When they had them, I also bought a bandana, but now I can't figure out why I wanted one so much. :)

I've never bought anything at the merch stand. However, I sometimes have a quick look to see if they have any Tees I like and this year I noticed that they seem to be selling stuff a lot faster than usual.

In Stockholm, a woman wanted to buy something before the second show, but they had already run out of most items. The guy there suggested she tried getting in earlier in Oslo (since she had mentioned she was going to attend that show too), if she wanted to have a chance at getting the right size for her T-shirt. As of today, many Tees were only available in a single or reduced number of sizes.

I assume they'll stock up ahead of the upcoming UK tour, but this really seems to be a good year for business.

Ahem, I bought one at the Albert Hall 2015, but I do have the excuse that it was for my 10 year old daughter who was with us the concert and who had her heart set on it.

She tells me shes going to wear it at the Palladium on Sunday as me , the wife and our daughter have got tickets and are looking forward to a great show.

The programmes are £15. Yikes! But as a previous poster said, some good photos and new content.

So far I haven't presented the plastic or any of the folding stuff to the merchandising staff. On the strength of the performance I was tempted to buy a Palladium poster but they were all sold out when I asked. So three shows down and one to go and I haven't parted with any cash in that direction. Still Wembley to do so temptation will be all around again...I'm gonna be strong though (maybe)

Crikey, the tour posters were £15 at Wembley, they seem to have rocketed up - they were about 10 euros at the Paris show if I remember correctly. Blame it on Brexit I suppose!

That seems quite a price jump from what they were a few years ago. They have gone up much steeper than the shirts!

Tour posters at the Liverpool gig were going for £12.

My son had to pay £25 for a T shirt.

Pretty much what I expected.
