Entry was somewhat organized...wristbands (green for VIP General Admission and Blue for Regular General Admission) were given out in the queue outside the venue from about 5 PM to about 6:30. All Ga (both types) were allowed entry to the lobby....was time then for a drink from the bar at Garcia's without losing your "spot". But watch out for each other...so as not to lose your spot if you are not lined up directly in front of the bar....(Fortunately for me, I was at the bar while still in line...)....then at about 6:40 or so, the security let the VIP wristband holders in thru one door and they had their "mad dash" but I was not in that group so not sure if it was tough or not....I do not think it was tough - I did not hear any stories or complaining and it was not a ton of people either....Then at a bit before 7:000 PM, they opened all four doors from the lobby to the theatre..that mad dash was not too bad...I was at about 6 people from the center mice....Great spot...

Do not rely on having free access to your cell though. The security team members were rude about it and made the vibe a bit uncomfortable (in my opinion) even when you just looked at the time on your phone.

There was plenty of time to grab a drink from the bars setup inside on either side of the floor. Also time to go to the restroom if needed. I suggest that everyone just help each other out when you leave your spot and when you come back.

Enjoy the show tonight!!!!

But must say performance of it last night was excellent.
Bob & band sounded spectacular.
So spirit is fine with me now.

Why do so many people dislike Spirit on the Water ? I love it and I am looking forward to hearing it live again.

Idk I used to like album version.
then thought song seemed little bit dull live.
But sounded really excellent last night.

Sinatra /standard covers all sounded fantastic too.
The band sounded awesome.

enjoy tonight everyone :D

No kidding! I was there by myself and sending some email to kill time half an hour before the show was supposed to start. A security guard came over and yelled at me to turn it off. Pretty ridiculous.

Edit: Incidentally, I have a GA available for tomorrow night if anyone needs one. Face value of course.

Thanks for posting, felt like sitting in the bar just hearing the concert in a distance. How much can (newyork) people talk really? 8)

I just love the new long crying sound on Early Roman, is that Charley or Donny. First I thought it was the guitar but its so noisy. Must listen again.

Just listened again it must be Charley. But just before the song starts in their "tuning" minutes its sounds like he is playing a slide guitar note, then this crying starts. Lovely I love it! Hearty and Calling.

I've never taken a MTA train to Port Chester before. I was sitting on the wrong train for a damn near 20 minutes before I realized. I ran and caught another. I should make it there just in time. I don't care if I stand. I just want to be there.

Being there, the crowd noise was really my only complaint from the show. People just flat out talking as if a concert wasn't occurring. Bizarre.

YES in regards to the phone situation. My friend glanced down at her phone and a security guy swooped in to tell her to turn it off. That's a little much I think.

It's funny, last night was my 9th or 10th show (I can't remember which), and despite there being no surprises, I enjoyed every second of it. Spirit On The Water is a song that I'ver heard God knows how many times, but his delivery of it was so powerful. The crowds reaction to "You think I'm over the hill" was beautiful. Someone even shouted back "No!" in reaction to him saying "You think I'm past my prime". He sang all the Sinatra songs beautifully, and really delivered vocally when it mattered. Desolation Row was great, and it was cool hearing a new Tangled. My friend isn't a huge fan of the Sinatra stuff, but I told her to really listen to Autumn Leaves, and by the end she was spellbound (an' swallowed..). Dylan was vibrant, showing no signs of slowing down. It's moments like last night that make us take for granted his age. I hadn't seen him in about a year, and I'm really glad I got to catch him last night. I had a great time.

Sounds wishful.

Nothing yet on Bill's page.

Dylan's home page actually has a setlist for last nite and tonite's entry is a lame diddo.
Do you suppose his webmaster actually saw the show? Perhaps the intern.

At the least they could copy and paste the list instead of the dissapointing, "see prev nite" entry.

Summer Days was rollicking. A new arrangement with fiddle. The first half of the show felt like the old days of unpredictable setlists. I almost sold my ticket but realized I wouldn't get face value. A great night, considering I was disappointed by the first show.
