Hi everyone!
I got tickets for Hamburg, Lingen and Düsseldorf, but no car or place to sleep yet.
Suggestions welcome.

Thanks!

Any idea about carsharing, couchsurfing or something similar?

I would gladly Uber you if you handle the airfare.
I feel I should Uber in Deutschland at least once.

Not really, but Google's your friend. Check ibis budget for low priced accomodation if you can't find any couches.

Thanks, Parker, but Ibis is not really my style... It would be much more inspiring to share the Germany trip with some dylanites -I hope to get it.

Trust me: the place to be is Quakenbrück. Located between Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Lingen - You'll never whish to leave that place again: https://www.artland.de/magazin/magazin. ... pmenu=1868

Maybe try posting on the "Who's Going Where" tour thread if you didn't already. There used to be people around who gave others a lift for gas money.

Also, maybe you could get the moderators to change the title of this thread to something more descriptive, as to possibly generate more replies.

Thanks, you're very kind. :)

If you find no lift, Deutsche Bahn offers tickets from Hamburg to Lingen for 23 Euros, regional trains only. Takes about 4 1/2 hours. Faster trains (IC/ICE) around 30 Euros.

Other connections should be also in this range of prices.
