Actually 5 new songs were played at a show in Columbia, SC end of 2016.

You are right!

Wow the tedium of the Neverending Set and its permutations is even making me miss the Bark Ages.

The shows of the past 3.5 years have been more varied than people generally are inclined to believe. The Things have Changed - Pay in Blood - Lovesick - Tangled - Long and Wasted years core is still there. But, the show has changed, picking up along the way the Indio 'Oldchella' vibe since October last year.

The leftfield choices have come and, sadly, gone - Standing in the Doorway being the latest victim of Bob's one-off rule with some of these numbers. Til' I Fell In Love with You, Shooting Star and Sad Songs and Waltzes come to mind, as well as Baby Tonight. He doesn't seem to really care to develop these songs much live, instead just living with the audience in that one-off moment, never to be re-addressed again.

It does feel as though, however, that more tracks from Triplicate simply won't materialise. I think he's closed the door on debuting more of this American songbook covers material. I'm probably gonna be proven wrong

European summer tour 2015 maybe. Actually it was the Phoenix show following the final Indio show, which had 4 new songs. Actually 5 new songs were played at a show in Columbia, SC end of 2016.

A whopping 15 new songs were played at a show in Gothenburg in July 2014 compared to the previous 'Set' concert the day before. 16 new songs were played in Rome 2013, followed the next day by 13, before then having 18 new songs again and returning to the 'Set'.

Great stat about gothenburg.

What a set that was, too! Ramona, tweedle, lonesome day blues, hard rain, shelter from the storm, girl from the north country, cry a while...

Lots of mic stans dancing! Old black magic was fun! Bob enjoyed it a lot.

Why try and change me now is still boooring. ☹️

That is the best I've heard him sing it - in Japan he was well, well off. Here he sounds joyous. Fun track, highlight of Fallen Angels.

Not a great song to begin with, but a terrible closer.

So same encore, Vik ?

Unfortunately, OneOfUs, I fear you will be proven wrong.

I also do not understand the love for 'Long And Wasted Years'; it's an awful excuse for a song. Nice to see some changes though I would have taken the first night's set over this one. 'Ramona' is a nice swap for 'Don' Think Twice...' but 'Spirit On The Water' i s up there with 'Long And Wasted Years' on my dislike list.

When Bob sang it at my concert, I got a kick out his one hand on hip punchy delivery.

Why is it important where on this planet and in which country he plays certain songs? Do you think he even bothers if something is an "European debut" or not? Just curious because you seem to be very well informed about these matters...

Never. Even if I had a way of disappearing immediately, I'd still not do it. I usual already embarass myself enough without having to resort to that kind of behavior.

Instead.

Sorry I missed a few songs at the beginning. I accidentally locked my phone and by the time I managed to reset the VPN connection and login again, I got distracted by the show George was putting on during HW61.

And so did Tony, who was laughing at Bob's dancing and overly dramatic moves the whole time.
