U.S. Fall Tour continues!

Bob Dylan and His Band

Mobile, Alabama
Saenger Theatre

16 November 2016, Wednesday

The 70th Show of the 2016 Never Ending Tour.

Capacity: 1,921
Showtime: 8:00 pm

"She said, 'Your debutante knows what you need, but I know what you want!'"

---

Bob Dylan at Mobile Saenger Theatre Nov. 15

Mobile, Alabama, USA – This is how cool Bob Dylan is: It took him around two weeks to acknowledge that he had been chosen as a Nobel Prize recipient.

Last month, the legend was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for his contributions to songwriting throughout the past fifty years. After a couple of weeks of elusiveness from Dylan, the Swedish Academy gave up knock, knock, knockin’ on his door regarding the accolade, though it was recently reported by The Telegraph that he has plans to personally accept the award at the formal ceremony held in Stockholm this December.

Along with adding an additional highly-distinguished laurel to his collection, one that’s next to his Medal of Freedom from a few years ago, both next to the couple of honors from the Kennedy Center that he’s picked up over the years, Dylan is currently in the middle of a U.S. tour with a stop at the Mobile Saenger Theatre on Nov. 16. The sold-out show is at 8 p.m.

If you were blowin’ in the wind and missed out on tickets, you’re sure to find extras through outlets like Stubhub at a heftier price. As of print, there are a couple of orchestra seats going for $850 apiece on the site. (They’re not all as jacked up - Most are about $700 less expensive.)

If that’s too much for the budget, this past May, Mr. Dylan released his 37th studio album, Fallen Angel, available for download at a more affordable price. The cover album contains twelve classic tracks written by songwriters, including Johnny Mercer and Carolyn Leigh, and stylized by Dylan in his own timeless manner.

Things have not changed. That's why he should perform "Day of the Locusts."

It's the number of Sinatra songs in the SET. The big drop on the left side was at the first Indigo weekend, since then it's either been rising or unchanged. Yesterday was the first time it dropped again (from seven to six).
This is just a screenshot of a bigger chart I'm working on. I'm going to post it next week when the last concert for 2016 is over.

He spoke-up the room seemed bare
He hadn't seen her anywhere
He told himself she didn't care
and felt an urge to hide
He pushed himself aside
to which she could relate
brought on by a simple twist of fate....
Amen.

okay Carlabeth, I have now been driving back and forth to my new place in my moving errands, and have been thinking of the new verse.

is this from Mobile or your own thoughts, it is quite a beautiful image for the song and hey I'll always be stuck in '58.

Thank you!! Birth was a success, I love her name so much that I have to share it: Sadie Rose. Rhymes with Shady Grove.

So happy you're back Shitjoy!

^ Congratulations, Dad. :D
Sadie Rose is a beautiful name.
"Sadie" always reminds me of that song from Funny Girl.
