Barefoot, you surprised yourself and liked these songs when you saw them this summer, as I remember?

I tried, Schoolie, but the last song of the last show was just too much for me.
Turned my back and watched the audience instead.

Thank Bill!

Bob.... they're not going to withdraw the LitNob over your sinatraing. Just stop it, it's useless.

melancholy moody is a perfect song - the melody, the sentiment never lets go.

so glad to see it on such a bittersweet day in this season of bob as portent to ignoble fallen pride

bobby vee was real art.

What's disturbing is that it took Indio to strike the Sinatra from the Set and now it is quickly creeping back in WITHOUT a similar catalyst for future removal.

If it replaces Desolation I'm comin out there, with a guitar, singing Maggies Farm, next to to his proposed bus spot for the next show!

I'll be right there with you

That being said, I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates all the Sinatra. On the Bob Dylan subreddit I was ridiculed for expressing that opinion... That being said, I also said I wanted to yell Judas... All of this was before Desert Trip, Nobel Prize, Setlist update, etc.

19 songs without an intermission - nice.

Addition is better than substitution.

Probably false for drug treatment, but true for Sinatra songs.

Bob Dylan fans

video: http://www.shreveporttimes.com/story/en ... um=twitter

"The line carried down the front steps of the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium as concert-goers waited to get closer to the music legend, Bob Dylan.

The excitement for the evening's show was felt by those who'd attended Dylan's shows before — some more than a handful of times — and those who'd see him perform live for the first time.

Some of those fans shared their excitement with The Times just before entering the historic venue to see Bob Dylan and His Band about their favorite songs and why they came out for the show."

Lubbock (Buddy Holly) Tulsa (Woody Guthrie) Shreveport (Louisiana Hayride)

it is such a blessing for Bob to have played in Shreveport just as Mr. Velline goes home.

Elvis-Buddy Holly, Bob-Bobby Vee. that'll be the day, what a day.

I wouldn't say "hate", but 4 Sinatras is a bit much,
especially after enduring 8 Sinatras show after show this past Summer.

Intermission is right around the corner! I can feel it making its way, narrowly.

Can take Melancholy mood when it's followed by a good Desolation Row.

So he added in an extra song? And played guitar? Hell of a show to the folks in Shreveport!

I don't know how much he played on HW(FCP) but that was the song that he seemed most frustrated with in Tulsa. That was the song where he turned around mid song and stared down Tony while shaking his head. Maybe it sounded too bare so he added a second rhythm guitar element?

Or he just wanted to teach Stu and Charlie some new guitar tricks and licks.

count me among the group that was hoping he would never pick up an electric guitar again on stage. i thought that shambolic 07-12 period contained many of the worst live performances he's ever given.

Maybe you can find it in your heart to give him a second chance?

Glad to see Melancholy Mood being played. I think finishing with Why Try To Change Me Now is great too. Makes me smile.
