If anyone from here is going, could you buy a shirt for me and ship it, assuming they have it in stock?

They were selling shirts that had the desert trip dates on the back, and a Dylan picture on the front. They sold out of XL at the end of the show. If they happen to restock, I'd really like one! I'll pay cost+shipping plus a little extra.

1965 pic of him holding guitar in studio. The design around the pic was really cool. Wish I got a snapshot but was sure they'd be all over eBay (they aren't!)

It will be interesting to see if the stepped-up "We see the glow, you go" cell phone attitude continues...

From today's front page:

5 things to know before attending Bob Dylan's concert

SHREVEPORT - Legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan will return to perform with his band in Shreveport Tuesday at Municipal Auditorium.

Dylan's music has spanned five decades across multiple genres. Some of his most popular songs include "Like a Rolling Stone" and "Mr. Tambourine Man." This month, he was awarded the 2016 Noble Prize for Literature.

He last performed at the Municipal Auditorium 20 years ago on Oct. 30, 1996, and his most recent concert in the Shreveport-Bossier City area was Feb. 23, 2002, at the CenturyLink Center.

Tickets for Tuesday's show range from $59.50 to $119.50 and are available at the Shreveport Convention Center box office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday, Ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000.

For those who plan to attend, here's a handful of things to know before you go.

1. Doors open at 7 p.m. The show starts at 8 p.m.
2. No bags larger than 6"X9". Wand and bag checks will be conducted.
3. A setlist has not yet been posted on his website. However, songs from past shows include "Things Have Changed" and "High Water (For Charley Patton)."
4. No photography or video of any kind is allowed, including cell phones.
5. If you're thirsty or hungry, a full service bar is on the left and right sides of the first floor, a beer area is on the first floor and a full bar and concessions are on second floor.

I was at the Paducah venue recently for something else. Only indication that Bob is coming was a small print in the box office. There were some big banners for other stuff.

Well that was also the case at all the small theatre uk/ europe gigs this time last year . Maybe not the go immediately aspect , but certainly given a warning and some persistent offenders were marched off sometimes to have their phones confiscated and them let back in , sometimes to be booted out of the theatre. The security people i spoke to said it was strict instructions from Dylan's people .
Thankfully better quality audio recording equipment doesn't glow

It's strange though that on last year's fall tour, the constant flashlight flashing of security people only doubled the distraction of cellphone glows.

Same way for Fall 2014, it was ridiculous the amount of flashlights scanning the crowd

You're definitely one of us, Mr. Happy, because we are conversing with you.
Since you asked, IMHO, the programs are a waste, plus a pain to haul around.
Best to save your money or put it to use at a good watering hole afterwards.
That's just me though.

If they have Indio stout, please ship me a couple cases (bottles only please) and I'll comp you too.

Wait! If you're checkin on the World Series, we demand a Set List!

And be Happy about it, Mr. Happy.

Actually, you can cheat and just cut & paste it from the last show and we'll never know.
Unless someone Tweets otherwise.

We appreciate knowing you are there.

If something bizarre goes down ya gotta at least tell us that.
Otherwise, carry on and enjoy yourself Mr. Happy!
