Number of "Sinatra" tunes per show this Fall ... so far:

0 - Indio (first)

1 - Vegas

1 - Indio (second)

2 - Phoenix

3 - Albuquerque

3 - El Paso

Still on red alert!

Are there m/any examples for this post '66? I'm sure it happened, but in my memory it was always one or the other?

I had the pleasure in Lörrach July 16 2015
What a great concert that was!

Early Roman Kings
Shelter From the Storm

Remember Fall 2013, when for a handful of shows we was shuffling the set slightly each night before settling on one list to play for the next couple of years? We might just as well be at the same point right now.

But any change is good at this point, even if a bigger shake-up only occurs every two years. On paper this looks like to be a more pleasing list for the tourists, but for the seasoned Bob concert goer, this current list has very, very little to offer.

At least when the static era started, there were a couple of deep cuts in there, this time around, all we got is "Lonesome Day Blues" and "Feel My Love" that are neither in the Top 25 most played songs of his career or from the last three albums. I really do miss choices like "Country Pie" or "Gonna Change My Way Of Thinking" or "What Good Am I" - something fresh from the olden days.

Agreed Handsome. The yearning for the Turn of the Millenium period is what may still keep some of us going, knowing what is possible...

True and when the set was in Autumn 2014 we received:

"Workingman's Blues # 2"

"Waiting For You"

I do like both of these songs into the set and I love the new lyrics for the above, but still now we have "Lonesome Day Blues."

At least it's not "Levee"

Listening to Desert Trip #2, still to listen to Phoenix, and Bob and band sound absolutely on fire. This could turn out to be a really great Fall tour. A little bit of variation with the setlist would be welcome though.

To be honest: What keeps me coming back is that I know we're basically in extra-time right now. And when you watched the whole game (or in my case, the 2nd half), you don't quit right before the final whistle.

If an artist I really liked would do any of this stuff like, four albums into his career, I'd be outta there in a second.

2000 was a particularly good year .
You could go to consecutive shows each of about 21 songs with only 4 or 5 songs in common , all well performed .
Great band too with Larry and Charlie.
Those days are gone , but happy enough with what he's doing now and hope to see it over here in UK/ Europe next year.

Not bored, only disgruntled with ticket costs, plus I live a thousand miles away from the nearest show.
North America is big.
And I spent a bunch seeing him already this year.
So count me in the not-bored, sorta-half-gruntled, not going to see any shows this tour category.

Trying to decide on a string of shows, just a few, or maybe simply only one while passing by.
Apparently not bored enough or disgruntled...

If the Setlist stays so unchanging, it will dis-sway me from doing multiple shows.

Done enough runs in the past several years with minimal or zero change-ups.
It does create some boredom, yes.

The last song of the last Summer tour I actually turned my back to Bob and watched the audience.
Enough was enough (even after such a fiery ERK earlier in the show).
That was my last show in '16 after 3 shows with the same exact Sinatra-heavy Setlist.
Don't wanna do that again.

If he were playing this set over the summer I'd have made more of an effort to get to a show - having seen a pretty close variation in fall 2014 and 2 shows of the "preSet" in USA 2013. This tour isn't coming close enough to even be considered but it's great to hear him singing rock and roll again, which there's been precious little of the last few years--I actually thought it might be gone for good. Some of these songs I'm still tired of from the years before the SET, but his performances at desert trip (especially the 2nd) really brought some life to the ol' chestnuts. I can't wait to hear how they develop if he sticks with this set all tour, and I'd love to see a show if I could.
