From the sand filled heat of a cold desert night, signals indicate that
it may be that The Set has moved on from the shores.

What do we think will happen for the rest of this tour, and beyond that?

And no, you crazy kids don't get an 'other' option on this poll because we take way too much advantage of such a freedom.
Be sure to share your feelings about this cataclysmic moment!

Today seems like a good one to dig up that Long and Wasted Years compilation, to potentially begin to mourn its departure from the stage.
A toast to the day in the far distant future when a 36 cd box set is issued to commemorate the Days of The Set. Long may/did it Run!

I voted that the new Set will stay. Bob is warming to it and getting better with each of the 3 performances. I think he is hitting a new stride.

clair·voy·ance (ˌklerˈvoiəns) noun;
the supposed faculty of perceiving things or events in the future or beyond normal sensory contact.

...

Not a great hit rate with this guessing stuff.
Instead selfishly projected wants interfere.
Intermission is a like.

New interpretations of originals are most welcome.

Just realized if this is a new static set, it will present a real challenge at venues that highly encourage a seated experience. As Bob realized one week in, it seems to be a standing affair.

Does Trev care to share his latest prognostications? He was correct about Desert Trips.

Looking over the list of locations I think it's a distinct possibility that Bob Dylan is going to THROW DOWN like he hasn't in many years. He will celebrate both his Nobel and the continual renewal of his performing art with a smorgasbord of brilliantly performed songs old and new in places like Lubbuck, Paducah, Roanoke and, of course..."way down in Huntsville, Alabama".

I'm really hoping for something special in Tulsa. I was banking on some last minute archive announcements, but I don't see that happening anymore. But, it's gotta be a somewhat special city to him, what with the Guthrie museum, so maybe he'll be raring to go that night

Not Lubbock Smoke...
As the list you included states, it's cancelled.

Bad omen or a surprise solo acoustic appearance at a local open mic?

Only time will tell...

Well, the day has passed, but all that we really know is that intermission is off the table.
Options 1 & 3 remain possible.

Perhaps, from one show to the next, a 60s Bob song will get replaced with a Sinatra one, until none our left? With the exception of Blowin'. Maybe.

I think he's taken a step back with this set, personally. Yeah, there were too many covers, but the shows were well constructed and played to his strengths. Baby Blue doesn't cut it, and Don't Think is normally lampooned somewhat (with the exception of that performance from the 2nd Desert trip). Glad Spirit is gone though, he never could touch the studio rendition.

I have to say they didn't do much for me by '11 or '12,
but they are a tad more recharged this incarnation, particularly in his vocal delivery.
I think having BBlue and DRow on stage is very Nobel of him.

It's growing on me the more I look at it. (But sincerely mourning the two Act show)
Would love H61 and LDBlues to switch places.

I thought the latest Highway 61 Revisited benefited from finally having a short arrangement, like it should have. Those previous live versions, especially from 2000 to 2012, were just an excuse to waste time and fill some of the 90 minutes. Time which should of gone on an other song.

Seemingly, his days of filling a set with Highway 61 Revisited, Summer Days, Thunder on the Mountain and Rollin' and Tumblin' all at the same show are fortunately numbered.
