Well done, Bob.

Really great that.. made even better that I wasn't even expecting any sort of live feed (missed last weeks show) .. Enjoyed that a lot..everything about it, Bob's voice and his movements, the angles.. also the sound was pretty good from the feed. Just finished my bottle of red wine and now wondering if I can get to any shows in the US 8)

Paducah!!

I swear during the middle of LARS, I saw the close up of his face that I've become akin to from the Isis and TUIB RTR videos.

Positive! Though I did work a 15 hour shift today, so I'm a bit out of sorts. Could just be the excitement of hearing LARS!

Just got on here and didn't see/hear the show. It sounds like Bob was in great form, and nice to see him ditch the hat. Seems everybody here was making comments...on the comments on screen. Why? We're they negative?

It really came back like a snap from a snare drum though.
Almost felt like a Nirvana cover version

It had to happen eventually. We'll see if he sticks to it (or the retro setlist in general). So far #16 has been the "surprise" spot, I guess.

I think he'll stick to this for a while. This seems too meticulously thought-out to be a one off. The retro setlists in 2014 and 2015 were (mostly) missing recent songs and changed from night to night, this one seems to paint the full picture.

You might also say you had the Lonesome Day Blues blues. 8)

This thread fills me up with hope:
- setlists with suprise encores in the next few weeks
- an official Desert Trip 2 video release (or at least a HD leak  )
and of course, he might still extend his visit to Stockholm (with a nice speech....) in December to include a few more European cities. I'm already lining up outside the Tempodrom, Bob!

Me too! Slept it through after leaving a 24h shift, woke up 4 am but couldn't even reach for the phone.
It was a blessing to read this thread knowing your all out there after waking up alone.
Thanks for the report!

Based on the footage - his voice sounds awesome on parts of Rolling Stone, very much reminiscent of Autumn 2003, standing at the piano sans hat.

Only goes up to Desolation.

There's another video with bits of the songs proceeding Deso.
