Because 3 more people will come to see him because the Nobel will be in the press again at the time. But maybe cheaper tickets. But maybe not.

just to prove that I was right ( ) with my prognosis (made a while ago) that he's going to try in on the Nobel prize. And that this will be his last chance to fill larger venues (I also said that tickets will go on sale before Christmas). I guess we'll hear about the rest of Europe soon.
Pretty likely that the tour will end in London (maybe with a second show)

Perhaps he will do a baseball park tour in the Summer? He did a tour similar to this back in 2009, and if that means a switched up Set I am definitely interested.

There can be several reasons. The most likely being that if there are a large number of cities to visit on the tour it makes sense to perform in larger venues so the tour isn't incredibly long.

Concerts in arenas can also be laid out in "half". Meaning that the stage is midway through the floor, therefore playing to more people than is possible in a theatre, but not a full arena. Maybe 6 or 7,000 instead of 14,000.

Also the arenas that he is playing in aren't that big, in arena terms. The biggest being Wembley at just over 10,000 people and the smallest being Cardiff and Glasgow at just under 4,000.

Good news. Home town - approximately - concert , but Liverpool Arena isn't the best of venues! 2 much better smaller theatres in that town!

Well, damn. Was hoping for an Aus/NZ tour next year. Generally they do them in March/April, can't really see that happening now. Holding out for one later in the year then.

Wasn't his last Oz tour mid/late in the year? August I think? Could be the same for next year, fingers crossed. Then perhaps after OZ/NZ he'll finish with a US tour.

No arena shows thanks Bob

Yes, you are right. I totally forgot. Due to family commitments I had to forego my one show that tour, so haven't seen him since 2011.

And yes, theatres as per last tour is fine by me.

I suspect so as will be 3 years since his last visit. Try and avoid the 3 Arena this time Bob- go smaller and more often...

A reliable source just informed me Bob will be in Paris 20th April. Probably Bercy.

eventin.de has now put Bob Dylan on "Ticketalarm" on their website. Usually this means that tour dates for Germany will be announced soon (within a few days or faster)

Paris is a step in the right direction (geographically speaking) but still not for me. I'm hoping for multiple shows either in my backyard or just around the corner.
