Happy to oblige as long as it's OK with Bob.

Well, 'that's' done :)

Now, hopefully we will get the rest of the dates today or tomorrow if this is a full tour.

It's happened before, besides Desert Trip and the Summer Festivals, when has this happened when they release a couple or so shows and have them go on sale before releasing the full schedule?

There is literally one seat left in the 'cheap' $135 range at Harrah's.

I guess Bob can still sell tickets.

I remember within the last decade a stand alone, regular California show was announced way in advance...it was the only show announced then like two months later the rest of the schedule was announced at once....maybe Temecula 2008??

Thanks to the Nobel Committee, I think expectations would be too high for another album, especially with new material.

"The world has enough Bob Dylan songs." -- Bob Dylan

Of course after he said that he published new material.

Some say: Patience is a virtue.

I say: Virtue is its own punishment.

Bring on the dates, already!!!

I recorded Bob in the bathroom this morning singing some new songs without his wig on. But thanks to the strict rules around here, I can't post the links. So maybe I'll just torrent it.

At the risk of sounding like a pig at a trough, Oct. 16th, 17th and 18th are still available for concerts at the Arizona State Fair in historic Veterans Coliseum...

Apparently Dylan, Inc.'s gotten pretty good at keeping the lid on things.
Must've seriously upped the ante regarding pre-announcement leakage.
Not a peep of a rumor even. Kinda funny.

It's really quite remarkable given the vast number of people involved...

Audio or video?

I just hope the tour comes to my town, whatever wig his head is in.

I actually was told about the "Americanarama" tour a couple days before it was announced by a local promotor in the midwest whom I just happened to run into in a bar after a Dylan show (my 100th) in 2013. There was no notion that he was telling me something he shouldn't have, and to him, as a promotor , Dylan was just another mid-range act (who had played that night in an old hockey arena).

It's always been like that and we usually got reliable rumors way in advance.

Not sure if the Dylan tour is a gravy train from a promoter's point of view. I'm sure Dylan Inc. make sure they keep most of the $$$ and I think we would all agree that there are plenty of easier to handle acts out that than Bob.

I admit I'm also getting worried that something's wrong. Surely, this week...?

Putting the finishing touches on Christmas In the Heart, Volume II and the tour will conclude with several holiday concerts in mid to late December and possibly a holiday television special.

Trust me, it'll be worth the wait...
