Only one show in California and already going forward to Vegas? That's weird...

Maybe it's not necessarily the first CA date of the tour?
Let's see how the big picture unfolds.

Valley Center AMEX presale on Wednesday
https://www1.ticketmaster.com/bob-dylan ... norcatid=1

Vegas VIP presale on Thursday
https://www1.ticketmaster.com/bob-dylan ... norcatid=1

WARNING-If its the same stage configuration as this summer, if you are in the first couple of rows in the centre section, you will not see Bob when he is seated at the piano. If you are in the first couple of rows on the right hand side, you will not see Bob when he is centre stage because he hangs back and your view of him will be completely blocked by the piano. Only on the left hand side will you get an unobstructed view if you are in the first couple of rows.

I know I only show up in the late summer along with the mold spores, but I love this time of year and I love this board and I love anyone who loves Bob. Thank you.

Chelsea inside riffs off NY. needs a monkey wrench gate.

That's what I'm thinking. Mid-October would be kind of a late start for a Fall tour anyway. Noticed that both announced dates are in casinos, different rules apply.

Hey does anyone know the presale code for the Sun Valley gig?

I'm guessing that the code for the AmEx presale will just be the number on the back of the AmEx card. I'm not sure about the VIP presale; the link from Dylan's site goes to SLOTix, so it almost seems as if Ticketmaster is not handling the VIP packages (but then it seems to be on Ticketmaster, so I'm just confused). Either way, perhaps that presale code will be posted on Dylan's tour page....grave

Weird - to buy the VIP to Harrah's from SLOTix it takes you back to AmEx. I bought a hella expensive ticket but have no idea if it was VIP or not. It doesn't really matter as the special merchandise item is pretty dumb - anyone get the crappy foam Highway 61 clock from a couple years back?
Anyone figure out how to buy a VIP ticket?

I just looked now, and it took me right back to Ticketmaster, where the various VIP packages were options ($500+, $400+, and $300+). It looks like there are still dead center front row tickets, but I'm not too surprised with that pricing....grave

Still available-$585 to sit front row, dead centre but with an obstructed view when Bob is seated at the piano. But at least they will ship you a styrofoam clock!

No more reserved-seating Bob shows for me (not after my horrible experience last year at Humphrey's in San Diego), but out of curiosity I had to check Harrah's. Has Bob INC. completely flipped its lid? I've been to this Harrah's casino. It's out in rural San Diego County with nothing else around for many miles. If, after having a few concert drinks, you wanted to spend the night, it'd have to be at the Harrah's hotel (expensive)...or sleep in your car. And Bob INC is asking these insane ticket prices? Unless they start discounting at some point, I predict a half-empty venue.

I am holding out hope for GA shows in LA. This can't be the only SoCal show. The Hollywood Palladium (or similar) would be nice.

The styrofoam Hwy61 clock was an insult. However I thought the Bob computer bag and the Americanarama blanket (more like a beach towel, actually) were pretty cool. I still use them.

On second thought, when was the last time Bob played a GA show besides the partial-GA Desert Trip 2016? The Hollywood Palladium is simply a pipe dream...

I hope we get the dates tomorrow or later today.

These are already/are going on sale.

Unless this is the end times. :)

On Ticketmaster, you can now simply view all of the seats available. One thing that is interesting is that there are AmEx seats for $235 that are mixed in with the much more expensive VIP seats. So you could get an AmEx seat in the fourth row that is $200 cheaper than a VIP seat several rows back.

The frustrating thing for me is that there does not seem to be an AmEx presale for the Vegas show. It looks like the only presale is for the VIP tickets, so I have to either spend the big bucks or roll the dice in assuming that the general sale will include some non-VIP seats up close....grave

Thanks for the info on the recent GA shows. I looked up the Port Chester details on boblinks and the GA tix near the stage were $190 plus fees. Though pricey, I'd do something like that in a heartbeat.
