Not really, no....
Thanksgiving isn’t necessarily a Tour-Ender.
Didn’t he just do a short residency at the Beacon after-Thanx, only a few years ago?
And London comes to mind, and others...

Anyways,it would certainly be “non-traditional” to end a year as early as 11/16!
Glad he’s not.

.......the last Beacon run started the day after Thanksgiving, and ran through December 3rd.

(and it's unusual not to end a tour in Bochum, of course)

Both the concerts after Thanksgiving can still be cancelled due to "scheduling conflicts".

Or "logistics"

Really?
Feels more like the glass is half full, rather than half empty, to me.

I would like Bobby to have a rest, and spend time on his farm.
He deserves it, he's worked hard this year.
He works hard every year, i'd buy him some Kentucky Bourbon
if i was Santa

The Palace Theater is haunted -the ghost once tried to destroy his guitar onstage, according to Robert Hunter , a reliable source.

Five nights, November 20-22, 24-25. Has he done a stand that long in the era of the Set? And if so, did he change up the setlist at all?

ticketmaster lists a "local presale" for the Beacon shows. Anybody any idea what this entails?

Yes, and more often than not, no

Glass half full.
Good for Bob.
Hope the shows are actually way more than half full.
At least 80%.
That’s good for Bob too.

Hope people who do buy tix for multiple shows at The Beacon do indeed get a variety of songs and some changes each show!

The Beacon residency from 2014 was a great run of shows, even producing the definitive performance of Long and Wasted Years. Hope the run this year is even better!

Thanks! Yeah I figured. Too bad, not too many years ago I would have been overjoyed for a stand this long. Still remember the Chicago stand in 2005, I went to all but one of them and saw few songs repeated. Will probably just do one of these shows though.

I guess people who attended all five Beacon shows in 2014 hoped the same and yet all five of those shows had identical setlists (which in turn were identical to all the other gigs across the country that month.)

Yes, that five night stand at the Auditorium was special, especially with Hag opening. Still, I was even more impressed with the three night stand at the Palace in 2014. Looking forward to Dylan opening the new Wintrust arena on the 27th. Just one stop south on the Green Line for me.

I'm starting a verifiable rumour that there wil be a preshow gathering at Reggie's in chicago before the show. They do hippy bus shuttles to most major concerts on the south side, so im hoping they will consider dylan concert major.

2017 tour is officially over.
I think we can all agree that this tour was definitely special.
Bob gave solid performances throughout the year and all of us who had to chance to attend one or many shows had a terrific time.

His show in Montreal on June 30 was the highlight of my year. We are very lucky that he is still touring, words cannot express how grateful I am.
Thank you, dear Bob and your band. I can't wait too see what you have up your sleeve for 2018.
