Decision time. This will be my last chance to catch Bob on this tour. Should I go? I am not particularly impressed with the set, but I have also never seen the set before last time I saw him was 2012.

I get tired of the set like anyone...but it's sure something to see live. I'd unreservedly recommend going at least once.

Does Bob go on stage at 7 pm sharp? Or does Mavis?

I certainly recommend seeing it at least once. It's really something special to see in person

So Bob around 7:30? Or 8? And thank you for the info, I ask because I may not be able to make it there at start time.

That's a "no-brainah" Kurtz. The answer is ALWAYS yes.
Have fun!

Ticket: bought.

I'm flying solo this time, but willing to meet up with any of the crew here who are going.

Hopefully the SET lives up to my expectations, whatever they are...

Last time he played in Gilford, New Hampshire:

Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion
Gilford, New Hampshire
19 August 2011

1. Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat
2. To Ramona
3. Things Have Changed
4. Tangled Up In Blue
5. Beyond Here Lies Nothin' (Bob Dylan-Robert Hunter/Bob Dylan)
6. Mississippi
7. Desolation Row
8. High Water (for Charlie Patton)
9. Spirit On The Water
10. Highway 61 Revisited
11. Simple Twist Of Fate
12. Thunder On The Mountain
13. Ballad Of A Thin Man

14. Like A Rolling Stone
15. All Along The Watchtower

I know a lot of people would prefer this type of set over The Set - but, God, this track selection seems a bit boring. 5 repeats with The Set though!

I was at that one too and it was far too "barky". I dont know how my wife got through it, I barely did.

The lone bright spot was Ballad of a Thin Man.

Yes, that was when he had that echo effect on 'Thin Man'. And yes, I saw him that November, and it was too much to sit and listen too at times. Honest With Me was particularly gruff.

I was one that didn't mind the Thin Man echo. I also liked the "do ya?"

That was the Leon tour, right? Was that really 5 years ago? The ole time-is-a-jet-plane thing.

This venue is simple & easy. Saw Stu join the band here the first time they passed through and then the next time met & partied with Stu's buddies in the parking lot at the Leon one.

You can still see the stage (distant) from the beer area here if you have FOMO.

It should be around 8pm. Mavis' set lasts for about 45'.
