Bob's equivalent to a x you, sailing right over the audiences' heads. And so the great unwashed will remain just so.

Are you kidding me Hope?
Likes aside, Stu is doing something, and the stage vibe is a little different for a few minutes.
These days that's definitely not "absolutely nothing."

And I do like it.

Fine, but that doesn't make it better.
I don't hear and see nothing else than Bob's band rocking a little bit harder than usual for 47 seconds.
If they play freebird or must be santa - it doesn't matter - or does it?
Why did they play like this? Did they want to tell us, that they are getting tired to play the set again and again?
I don't know what these 47 seconds meant to them, to Bob. I don't know, what's the message for us.
So these 47 seconds don't interest me at all

Now THAT is iteresting. We wait two years that something's happening and when something happens then IT is NOT interesting?

Maybe you are right and it is or was interesting, that Bob allowed the band to play something that was identified to be "Free Bird" (47 seconds of FB).
But what did he express by this?
I think he declared by this: I'm not interested in what you ask me to do. I do what I want - nothing else.
If this is something new for you - ok, than it's very interesting.

What was Bob's contribution again when the band played that said song?

He introduced it and made odd movements with his body while it was played.

It's got to be the funniest quirk of the 2016 Tour, no?

Anybody have audio/video of his introduction?
