Wonderful concert.

Highlights include (not necessarily in that order):
- the suit
- scarlet town
- lovesick
- the suit
- early roman kings

The public responded very well to all the sinatra songs (and i'll try to send a picture of the suit, the picture is too big as it is now)

If I ever get married, I'll be wearing that :

and of course, Bob had the matching pants, which i didn't get a chance to take a picture of. The only faux pas were charlie's shades

Oh, man, wish I could get a better look at this suit! On first glance, I see swords guarding the Garden of Eden.

Thanks for the photo!

^ Yeah, that too...I think I remember talking about that another time when he had a new jacket with crossed swords just on his sleves. I was stating my immediate impression when I opened the picture, with all the foilage and what appears to me, to be a serpent.

Yeah, to be fair, the garden of Eden makes sense to me too. And I think that might be a serpent around where the breast pocket usually might be. At least the suit's not grey this time.

Your Flag and my Flag
And how it flies today
In your land and my land
And half a world away!
Rose-Red and Blood-Red
The stripes forever gleam;
Snow-white and Soul-white
The good forefathers’ dream;
“Sky-blue and true-blue
With stars to gleam aright -
The glorious guidon of the day
A shelter through the night.

Ok then :D
I liked Saarbruecken much more, too, but unfortunately was not at the rail so I could only see upper part of the jackt but not the dangle trousers

I was wondering where you were after I didn't see you at all. They made a bloody mess at the doors, telling us they had to tell everyone individually that no photos could be taken. You cannot tell individuals in hordes of stampeding people to do anything.

Maybe you queued at another entrance gate. I got in smooth, so I was among the first dozen or so to enter the venue, only to realize that the centre of the rail has already been occupied by an estimated number of 20 people who obviously had early entrance tickets. But I found a very good place at the rail, though.

it's gotta be Manuel - no one can kick it so sure-handedly into the stratosphere like Mr. Cuevas.
his work is so architectural, you best see the mastery only when it moves. he's the Mexican Armani of the American Balladeer.
- word. :D

so Johanna, then the band suits nicely complemented Bob's suit, as in Paris?
i blush at the sparkles in the dark on those guys - how crazy is that? funny, i just thought of this quote i just read-
"When I introduced myself to Manuel and thanked him for his work, I showed him my t-shirt, the first Manuel item in my collection. "It's like cocaine, my friend, be careful, or you will become addicted," he chuckled to me." http://www.thecurrent.org/feature/2015/ ... lle-legend

the Paris suit appears a luminescent turquoise which only reveals itself in the bright cool white lights,
which makes sense seeing how much protective and strengthening turquoise stone Bob wears,
including the beautiful new rectangular tie ring and his evil eye bolo at Musicares.
very Third Man, mon chéri.

and gibsona07, i mean Angus i guess :) is right, there does seem to be one who upon his belly shalt go. so many in the bible! :?
the serpent in the Garden, Angus says, hmmm, maybe-, he's a complicated character, a mean one, Mr.Grinch.
but the serpent of Ecclesiastes 10 - and if you don't know Ecclesiastes, you don't know Sergei Petrov, right,
would be, oh, i don't know, just je ne sais quois.

Quote:
Ecclesiastes 10:8 He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.

This is another way of saying, "Whatever you sow, you will reap".

Psalms 7:15-16 "He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch [which] he made." "His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate."

The hedge mentioned above, is possibly, speaking of the hedge the Lord puts around the faithful. For the hedge to be removed, would bring an attack from that old serpent, the devil.

Ecclesiastes 10:11 Surely the serpent will bite without enchantment; and a babbler is no better.

This is saying, the serpent bites without provocation. The babbler, here, is speaking of someone who uses his tongue to charm people into doing things his way. The babbler of this kind is just as dangerous as the serpent.
