I really hope this is how he walked off:

Bob Dylan is just making the most amazing speech about how he wrote songs. Unreal. Life changing.

Some great performances, judging by that clip (and Alanis looks great). I hope we will get to see the whole show (and Bobs speech) soon.

Nervous/concerned. He probably knows what all this is really about.

So, Dylan asked Joe Doe to play Pressing On? Interesting choice.

Which figure here conveys more gravitas? The musician or the former President of the United States?

I actually can't tell if Bob is happy or angry in that picture. It sorta looks like he's trying to smile...

Slightly disappointingly, most of the artists did songs they'd already covered (Doe did Pressing On for I'm Not There, of course), so I wouldn't read too much into it.

Did Bob get a new wig for the event?

Looks like he's delivering a lecture, or a sermon.

Has Bob ever made such a long speech?

Whether it's a wig or a bad dye job, I think it looks "wrong". He looks great with some grey...most 45 years olds would look unnatural with hair the color he has in these pics.

Sounds like a great speech, though!

hair looks kinda weird yes. At least Jimmy Carter wasn't naked. Looking forward to the speech. If the paparazzis were shouting this much when Bob was photographed on the red carpet I can undestand the long face. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ak6V5cBa_KY (Lady Gaga & Tony Bennet, + Jimmy Carter at Musicares, red carpet)

I don't think they were shouting this much. I looked for his photos on the red carpet in all the photo agencies I usually use (hello, I'm a journalist ;)) and they are not available. I guess he didn't pose for a bunch of paparazzi, just one or two photographers.
