11 000 in San Sebastian - 10 000 in Zaragoza ...

If the tour actually starts in Mainz and ends in Lörrach I suppose we've got the full schedule, then.

Thanks davidae.

Indoors arenas in the summer at that. It's weird.
Still, the fall tour is said to be smaller venues so here's hope.

I suppose he hasn't been to Spain in a while, so the thinking is to fit as many in while he's there. Madrid's another possibility for me. I presume it'll be GA?

In San Sebastian, the roof of the arena can be open... but I guess it will be in seated "indoor" configuration... I totally agree with you, it's weird to have that in July in Spain :? ... May be an open beach fall tour to come  ...

.

makes sense since Mainz is close to Frankfurt airport and Lörrach is close to Basel airport (and not too far from Zurich airport)

Many UK arenas have 'half hall configurations' for performers who are unlikely to fill 10000 plus seats . Gives the impression of a fullish arena by hiding all the empty sections ..much more suitable for Bob these days though sometimes they delay the decision to go ' half hall' until the volume of ticket sales becomes clearer.

Simplifies last minute ticket scavenging too.

Nice poster, Jcastro! Thanks for posting!

I didn't realize until today that Mark Knopfler is actually playing in Mainz the day before Bob!
I got me a ticket! 8)

Thank you again for the information regarding the shows in Spain. Do we have confirmation regarding dates for ticket sales?

The only information but not confirmed official is that tickets for San Sebastian show will be on sale next 07/04 at 10:00, and it will be all seated, no GA

If Spirit stays on the scene, then at least a nap!
Knopfler is actually quite entertaining when he stays away from the Dire Straits hits.

you haven't seen Knopfler often enough as Bob's opening act, have you? (I had to stand it more than ten times…)
by the way: Knopfler performs elsewhere the day after his show at Mainz – thus he won't appear as a special guest…

i had a dream last night that Bob was performing in Italy, and spoke fluent Italian before intermission for a few sentences and smiles.

i'm not sure what this means in terms of tour development.

We're hoping to make a return trip to see Dylan in the UK this Fall if the rumors pan out and shows are announced. I recall reading in the past about a fan group (not the dylan.com presales) that had early access to good tickets in the UK. It might have been associated with a Dylan magazine. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I rather think you should subscribe to Isis magazine! They do usually get an allocation of good seats for UK Dylan shows. There's a link to them on the front page here.

Alright. Things are getting boring since the Eurodates are out. Next questions:

1) Where will Bob play the late August-late September tour? South-America seems to be off the table, so we should expect an US-Tour. After touring the southern area in spring he will go where? East and Westcoast? He did this only last Oct/Nov. Canada?

2) The Euro-Big-Cities-Tour in Oct/Nov. After covering southern Europe in June/July I see him playing the usual places:
Oslo / Stockholm / Copenhagen / Hamburg / Berlin (x2) / Leipzig / Frankfurt / Münster / Amsterdam (x2) / Brussels / Paris (x2) / London (x3) / Birmingham / Newcastle / Glasgow / Dublin

Just because he's just played there in Autumn; does not mean he will not be back

Let's at least give it until the Dates are up on BOBDYLAN.COM before we discuss anything further :P
