You're a rock star man. It's gonna be great. I could have booked a flight to Oslo but I've been reasonable. Enjoy tomorrow! Can't wait for your updates.

Right on, JP! We *know* Bob's gonna be there, but we need the 411 on the guitarist!

Yes, this lack of 411 could lead to a 911 situation.

I gather Oslo is an hour ahead of us here in Britain? So assuming Bob starts at about 9pm your time (any idea if this is correct?), Things Have Changed will begin at 8pm our time, Love Sick five minutes or so after that, then at about 8.12pm High Water...

Any idea what time the first live tweet saying Bob should retire will be?

Yes, Oslo in an hour ahead of Britain, from topic first page I read that the show will start at 7.30 Oslo time.

First tweet saying Bob should retire... before the show starts.

From today's front page:

Konsert
Bob Dylan
Spiller i Oslo Spektrum 10. oktober 2013 kl. 19.30!

But Dylan isn't going to perform as early as 7.30, surely? Isn't that just the time some unheard-of local group will play "Kjærringa mæ staven" a few times to increase sales at the bar?

You think there is an opener?
I was hoping Bob would do Kjærringa mæ staven...

From my memory of previous concerts at Spektrum, it means that the doors will open at 7.30, and that the concert starts 8.30. However, it may also mean that the doors will open 6.30! Nothing on their webpage to confirm in any direction, but I believe it is written on the tickets.

This is the first time in many years I won't be able to see Dylan in Oslo, my home town. I will be following this live set list like a man possessed though! (And make up for it by catching two of the Royal Albert Hall shows.)

Anyway, ten points for your knowledge on Norwegian folk song lore.

I hope not. I've got "Paal sine høno" as my joker pick over at the never ending pool.

If I was a pooler, I'd have chosen that one about the Cow and the Fiddle for tonight.

I hear Per may be Bob's new guitarist, so the cow and the fiddle may have to wait.

I like that. Bob Dylan could play that melody at his bagpipes just to create the mood.

Superb. So at 6.30 here in London, I'll be at my computer, beer in hand, Dylan on hi-fi, ready for news.

Exciting!!
