So folks, how did we go this morning?
For Melbourne, after a stressful 5 minutes or so of being offered tickets from about 15 rows back and further, I finally landed 3rd row centre section, so happy with that. Pays to not just take the first option if they're not what you want.

Now to see what other concerts are added in...

Front row, middle section in Brisbane after 20 minutes of frustration that included getting other front row tickets and being booted out. Surprisingly painless compared to some experiences in recent years.

No plans to travel for other shows this time around.

I just hope there's a view from the front. You never know whether the whinging at other shows about not being able to see anything is justified or not.

Yeah, I was wondering the same regarding front row. Guess it all depends on the stage setup of each venue. I was aiming for row 3-5 due to this, so was happy.

Had a look about 15 mins ago at the Sydney tickets and amazingly the expensive platinum tickets are still available and you can still get second row in Gold. Not a huge rush, it seems.

Got my Brisbane tickets! I decided to go for the elevated section (46A) on Bob's piano side. I was in the 2nd row on the floor in 2014, which was fantastic, but the piano obscured Bob a little bit. It'll certainly be closer than I was at Desert Trip too!

And here I was feeling pleased with being about 12 rows back for the Melbourne show haha. Glad for you all getting such great seats. I was front row for one show in Melbourne and one in Sydney last tour and that was an amazing experience.

Centre section 5th row back not to bad I'd been warned about being to close to the front due to the piano blocking the view exhausting process getting tickets Telstras service was down kept getting kicked of the Ticketek site over 30 minutes to get tickets
very disappointed I wasn't able front row seats on his previous tour in 2014 but pretty happy with seating this time around

Section 15 in Melbourne - to the left of stage, close enough to the action, sort of facing Dylan at an angle and hopefully high enough to see him clearly.

All the cheap seats have apparently gone, and the best expensive are now only available as single tickets.

How many can they sell for pre-sale? Sounds like they were close to selling out.

They'll always keep quite a lot of seats for the regular sale. Then there will likely be some held back to sell at a alter period. It's infuriating.

Received a ticket as a gift. Sitting premium, but it's first tier of the stadium to the side, not on the floor. Excited.

Will be aiming to buy front row seats to any other show that is announced.

Third row, section C for the second Melbourne show :D

Still hopeful of a smaller venue concert being announced, though funds are now very limited. Got to wonder if a second Sydney show is about to be advertised ... I’m supposing tickets for the first Melbourne show must’ve sold quicker than Sydney. Maybe that makes it more likely they’ll do a smaller-venue show in Sydney rather Melbourne, if they don’t feel they have enough demand for two arena shows there (?).

Well, with Newcastle and Wollongong there are two more Arena shows within reasonable distance to Sydney. There are none even remotely as close to Melbourne.

I suspect there will be an extra show in Melbourne or Sydney on the 16th. The Palais Theatre in Melbourne is available, or they might play a small hall in Sydney. The Sydney show is practically sold out, and the second show in Melbourne will probably be a full house.

Gooday goofyfoot...
Yeh well I sure am...actually going to all the shows in Australia...did the same thing on his last two Australian tour. Last tour I was in the front row centre on all his Australian shows. Same this time round’. I go thru Jenny at diamond box office, dunno’ how but she always gets me front row centre on all the Australian shows. I have been to all of bobs shows in Melbourne since festival hall 1966 and never ever got front row. But being such a big fan I would run the the marsh pit soon as the lights dimed’, sometimes I would get away with it and other times well most of the time I would get escorted back to my seat. It’s strange I get this urge as soon as bob comes on to just run to the marsh pit. As you know marsh Pits at bob shows have long gone. Anyway what I do is put away 100 bucks a week for 3 or 4 years pending on when bob next Australian tour pops up. People spend there dosh on cigarets on a weekly basis, I spend mine on bob instead hehehe. Am I crazy yes am I mad yes but I am always locked in tight when bob tours never out of range always up close and personal. Ticket prices range from 600 to 800. Adelaide being the most expensive. Some times I fluke it and stay in the same hotel as bob and his band. Most of the time I have drinks with his band at the hotels bar. They all know me very well since the last 2 Australian tours. Out of the shows that I have been to I had never seen or met bob except this one time at the palace theatre in Melbourne 1992 as he was leaving and ready the jump into his limo. As I said I have been to all his shows and in 1992 I was in the marsh pit front centre every night he played at the palace theatre. So obviously He started recognising me after the second night I think he did like 7 straight shows there in 92. Anyway before he jump
Into his limo he saw me standing there it was his last night at the palace and he recognised me, he walked up to me and we chatted breifly and then of he went in the limo towards the Melbourne city skyline. Anyway sory long typo got a little carried away.

I can confirm ICC in SYdney is booked for Sunday 19th August. This appeared briefly on Chuggs website.

Also I believe Magaret Court Arena is booked for Thursday 16 August.

I would expect these shows will only go on sale if Chugg thinks the demand is there. It appears the other Sydney/Melb shows are 90% booked so I would think chances are high of an announcement soon.

Other venues/smaller shows were not initially in the planning but things can always change.

Well, I just went back on my word and bought a ticket for the second night in Melbourne too.

So 3rd row for night one and then in the front row of the grandstands to the side, so should get two different experiences I guess.
