18 songs ! :D
No really unexpected songs. Nevertheless it seems to me that they vary the middle part more than last year.

Nice setlist with a socio-critical '60s trilogy in the middle. Then again, that's what you expect at a Saturday show.

... and 18 songs, wow! We haven't had that in quite a while, have we?

Does any else get the feeling that Dylan likes Jolene an awful lot?

Yes, with good reason, according to the song. :)

That and Beyond Here are really the only tracks from TTL to stick. I get the feeling he wasn't overly fond of that project in general.

I dont think he gave 'feel a change a coming' enough of a chance, I like that one, so glad I heard it once- before it got shelved...

I think mayb 'feel a change' was more a hunter song anyways. He reads finnegans wake once a year.

listening to the soomlos recording of this night. sounds better then his performance from buenos aires i heard earlier. but why the efff does he keep dropping Things have changed?
also, is the announcement thingy no longer used? normally soomlos records it, and see no reason for him not to this time, nor to cut it..
did i miss something??

Because if he didn't then Things Would Be The Same.

No. You didn't miss the intro. Yes, you missed the ensuing discussions about why there is no intro now. There's an Al Santos thread in general forum somewhere if you'd like to catch up. Enjoy!

I was lucky enough to see him do This Dream of You, which was just beautiful, along with a grooving It's All Good. I figured both would stick but I guess it's Jolene! (and Forgetful Heart)

Wow Dream of you, how was that live? I always expected "not dark yet" to be quite depressing, but somehow it's joyful. You never know what the song turns into.

he's doing more of it, so...in that way yes! as it's improved his organ playing as well.

Charlie has really been given some more territory this year i think - and probably has been involved in the arrangements...

Yes there were so many good TTL songs for the road - I feel a change comin' on wasn't ever great - but those two Smoke mentioned were! My Wife's hometown should replace Jolene....
