Is Watching the River Flow, or any others from the last two gigs up yet?

Man In The Long Black Coat.

Bob without hat.

He looks happy and relaxed.

The performance is utterly flat, boring and pointless though. Wither all the drama and intensity, the friction, the melancholy sang froid?

The song deserves better. This one goes out to Goombay:

Simple Twist Of Fate
Ballad Of A Thin Man

Keep an eye on the channel :)

Cahi , the videos are great ! Thanks ! I don't usually like recent Tom Thumbs , but this , appart from the first verse , was very poetic and real . Bob had just stepped out of Juarez last night  Lovely. I wish i could see Bob one more time . I feel i won't . He's becoming more personal these days , almost like he's looking back a bit . Did you hear the Spirit at Hop Farm ,where he sang you think i'm over the hill , you think i'm past my prime ? and added ha ha well maybe yeah . I wanted the audience to worship him once again , i really did . He deserves it , it's unfair how people treat him . Keep singing Bob Dylan , voice of the promise

"I started out on burgundy
But soon hit the harder stuff"

This is absolutely amazing! One of the best versions he done of this, like this version so much more than in recent times! I hope he opens up with this a lot more from now on.

I hope he doesn't ditch the organ entirely, I love the piano, but the organ is the shit! The sound is amazing.

Thank you, cahi. It's exciting to see the band walk out at the beginning of the show.

I also esp. like the last verse of Tom Thumb's. That's a pretty classic verse and always nice to hear.

Bob does look great without a hat too.

I've been wondering if it's time for all the band to change their costumes .

He looks well and relaxed and happy.

His breath control is getting worse. I dont think he can hold any significant volume of air in his lungs for long enough to sustain his intention - when he does try to sing the original melody, he starts off ok but end up up mangling it, lending a sad anti-climax to each line.

On the plus side though, his wardrobe consultant has a brilliant sense of humour.

It's always interesting when people claim that a concert was good because BD looked happy and "enjoyed himself." Most of the thrashers in garage bands are really enjoying themselves but you wouldn't pay money to sit in and listen to them.

The funny thing is that the most legendary and best shows of NET featured a never smiling, stonefaced and minimal moving Bob without any look to or reconizing the audience! Perhaps thats why his voice was better in the past

Maybe its me then - I just think a song about suicide should be treated with due diligence.

Absolutely agree. Just glad to see that the Tom Thumb opener was a damn site better performance than the other recent videos.

I feel really sorry for him when gets the lyrics wrong on Tom Thumbs Blues on the first, he says; "Now if you see Saint Anne on the last bit of the 1st verse. Poor bobby! I'm thinking this is the best concert of the tour so far, the 3 videos I've seen are amazing.

I agree, they're all pretty good, at least for where Bob currently is at this stage. And his vocals are passable, considering it was his third consecutive night performing (I believe).

i think that was a very smart addition - and it fit into the meter - i would expect it to remain as an official lyric revision !!
