Fantastic show. No surprises in the setlist but Bob & the band were on top form! Several performances stand out - most noticeably "The levee's gonna break" where I literally thought the roof was going to come crashing down!! Bob really tore it up with that number!
"Trying to get to Heaven" and "Ballad of a Thin Man" were also exceptionally memorable.

Overall it was a great night. Crowd seemed very pleased and demanded an encore by chanting "ole ole"!!!

I was gonna upload a piece of my recording but it looks like I forgot my USB cable at home so I can't connect my recorder to the PC. (yeah I'm such a n00b  )

Does anyone know if Al Santos has been making his usual introduction at the shows in Brazil? It was missing from tonight's sequence of events.

How has the show begun, hakuna? With a guitar "solo"?
Thanks for your reporting.

Hahaha you guessed it Carolina!! Did you sing that in Sao Paolo too?

And no, the show begun with Bob on the keyboard playing LSPBH. My earlier comment was regarding the typical announcement that is aired right before Bob comes on stage.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the poet laureate of rock 'n' roll. The voice of the promise of the 60s counterculture. The guy who forced folk into bed with rock.... bla bla bla

Trobadour seems to have heard that this has been missing from all the shows this tour...

Yes, there has been chatter in these threads that the intro has been missing. I don't think it was at the Sampa shows that Carolina attended either.

What, no intro at all? He just walks on and kicks into PBH? Is there any intro music even?

In São Paulo, there was a sound introduction with guitar.
For me, in my opinion, it's like to say: The music is all that matters!

does anyone else notice the bass being a little distorted? or is it my cheap set of travel earphones? feedback would be appreciated because if it is the recording itself, i'll have to tweak some of my settings for tonight.

Is it a sign of a tired voice?
Ginger tea. Organic is better.

Either he got even more weird since last year, or he wants to make sure everybody understands him....

Then he should articulate, not repeat.

I'm liking this snippet very much, thanks! It's just good to hear Bob's voice again. Good ole uncle Bob. Audience sounds happy, I would be singing Ole Ole too.
