To date, Bob has performed in 49 of the 50 US states. Which is the one that has yet to be entertained by the man?

No prize. Just curious to see how quickly the answer comes.

Well done. That was pretty quick.

Now who's going to start a petition to bring Bob to Alaska?

Yes, definitely - a show in Trapper Creek should be on Bob's next list!

That would be excellent! Any connections, Robert? Come hell or high water I'd get myself up there for that. Though Robert's the spirit of Bob in Alaska, so maybe that covers it.

Christchurch?

I think that is correct unless he's ever played further south on the south island or Tierra Del Fuego, which I don't think he has.

I'll go for Christchurch too.
It's further south than Hobart which is likely the second most southerly show.

Post subject:  Re: Quiz for NET fanatics

I think it's a bit more South than Hobart, Tasmania, which would be the second most Southern place.

^^^^
You beat me to it.

weird, Hobart just came up in lecture i attended yesterday.

if he ever plays alaska, we should make it the great dylan venture, whereby all ER members make the trip and fill the house. Robert will host the after hours party.

when did he play Hawaii? I'm curious, and too lazy to look it up.

would the highest be Ishgl ?

Had to get a cable car up the mountain and there were people skiing either side of the stage and every time the sun looked out round a cloud the temp shot up 10 degrees and all the instruments went out of tune.

Ischgl is 1377m (if you can trust Wikipedia)

Post subject:  Re: Quiz for NET fanatics

Denver has a higher altitude than Ischgl. According to wikipedia it's at 1.609 m ("the Mlie-High-City").
Bob played there several times.
I don't know if he did get any higher than that.

I just found out that Mexico City is at an altitude of 2.240 m. Didn't he play there in 2008?

Post subject:  Re: Quiz for NET fanatics

yeah, but the 'Ishgl' concert was not in the village but at the top of the Idalp which wikipedia says is 2300m, plus the stage was about 4m high cos it was on top of a pile of snow lol. But there were people skiing from a point higher than the stage which my memory says was the same mountain so dont know if this height actually is where the concert was or the whole mountain
You know what, i didnt used to care!!!!
