Don't know if this will be his only UK date like last time. Hope not...

Oh bollocks to this.. crap venue, hell on earth to get to, short set, 27 years to get out of the car park, not worth it. Bloody Vince power and his limitless funds...bastard.

Agree about Hop Farm not being ideal but to compensate Patti Smith and Dr John will also be there - not to mention the one and only Mr Billy Ocean !!

If I'm going, I'm going alone. I will have to be in an adventurous mood (for several days). The weather better be good.

I'm tempted, I'll have to see what the rest of the line up is like. I loved the Feis Festival last year, so will probably have a blast at this one too!

It's not as good as 2010 but still an interesting warm up for bob if the likes of patti smith and dr john are on the same day http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos- ... 5932_n.jpg

I've been to Hop Farm for the last two years.. It's been pretty good. Patti Smith was really good last year.

The good news is coming thick and fast today! I am smiling here. I will be there, I am pretty sure.

This is such good news! :D .. .I can't wait, I really can't. This has made my day. Suddenly feel excited. And the new album. This month has been a month of good news.

Ah! Here it is! I'm sure this thread was on the tour forum ten minutes ago. I have been looking up and down on that page for about ten minutes, thinking I was either going blind or.. mad.

It says on the Hop Farm site Dylan's appearance there will be a UK exclusive.

So it's that or nothing, I guess.

And I was hoping to see Bob and Leonard Cohen on stage together this year.

Oh don`t say that - looks like I`ll have to make the effort to get there. :(

Anyone know if they'll release day tickets? £150 is steep if I only want to see Bob (would still bloody pay it though!)

Looks like no Bob concert for me this year. Hopefully he will be back for a proper tour next year.

Yeah, pretty sure they will - they're just releasing special weekend tickets (which covers three days of the festival, and four days of camping, and parking) to start with. My friend went a couple of years ago, and it was just for the day.

They said the same thing last year before the Feis festival, I wouldn't rule out a uk tour late on in the year.

Can't see myself paying £150, might have to end up hopping over the fence.

I saw Neil Young at Hop Farm a few years back. It wasn't an amazing festival, but it's only 30 minutes from me, so I'll probably go along.

In terms of the 'exclusive' tag for Dylan's appearance there this year... it may well be... but that seems unlikely seeing as there's (probably) a new album that won't be out by then...

also, last year, I saw Dylan at his Fleadh (or was it Feis? Whatever...) appearance in the summer, partly because it was labelled as his "only UK appearance in 2011" - and then he went and played in November.... not saying it'll definitely be the same this year, of course, but something to bear in mind...

Well, but last year's summer tour was only two weeks, this one already has dates from ca 1 - 20 July and probably into August if the Italian rumors are real. Much as I'd like to think so, I doubt he'll be back this fall. Worst case, it'll be like summer '06 and he'll be here before the new record is out, playing shows by numbers.
