I've never seen him. I can't wait. I need to hear dates. The talk of no tour scares the crap out of me. When dates are announced, I will be ecstatic! Please hurry, Bob.

Haha! That's awesome! I go to enough shows that Bob should let me ride on the bus with him. I'm not any trouble at all. He won't even know I'm there. I promise!

It's all about choices. Whatever floats your boat. Sounds like you're in for a fun time. Please keep me posted on this as it develops!

Same here, man. Hopefully, he comes back to Merriweather Post this summer. Great venue, IMO.

I'd like to start traveling to more shows. I was hoping to make the trip to Woodstock last summer, but work got in the way, and I just stuck with the local venue. Hoping to do some more traveling this summer. It's a great excuse to take a trip to a new place.

A Bob Dylan show is something every Dylan fan should experience at least once (or everytime the opportunity presents itself). Every show I've seen has been completely different from what I witnessed before and I've been lucky enough to catch shows where he's engaged with the music, the band is firing on every cylinder, and they were taking no prisoners. The arrangements in the '94 show were long and some I didn't recognize until well into the first verse which added to my delight and admiration of him as an artist. I don't think he goes to that extent today but he does deliver a great performance. I hope you get to see him this year.

This statement needs to be taken very seriously. There is no time like the present. Gotta be ready to strike and to make this a top priority with only a moment's notice (...unless you don't want to, of course). --so much fun that it's indescribable!

Thanks, UP. I will absolutely take advantage of every opportunity that is within my means and then some! If the hold up on announcing dates is a new album or the next Chronicles, I will be very grateful for that as well, but I really am hoping for a chance to catch a show (or ten) this year!

I truly hope that you are able to catch a run of 10 for your first Bob shows, Raging. That's definitely the way to do it! I like your attitude and wish you the best. Keep saving your pennies. It's worth it.

I've been going to see Bob since before the NET even started. I'm still smitten when he comes out. It's like seeing a mirage. When you go you need to get on the rail; no sitting down back.

When I was undergoing my cancer treatment, there was a show where I had to sit (I had neuropathy in my feet due to the chemo). Anyway, I sat on the sidelines for the first time in many years and I hated the experience that night. Never again. You see too much to sit down back; I want to "see" Bob when I go. He's really funny (and cute) to watch.

You'll get there.

Yes! I plan on being at the rail, if possible! I am not an aggressive type person, but I AM willing to do the time it takes to secure a spot. I hope some of you guys can give me advice when shows are announced, like what the best ticket options are for buying. Does the official Bob Dylan site offer presales, etc. I'm getting excited just thinking about it!!

Someone here will see Bob's site announce presale dates. In order to get a presale ticket, you'll go to his site and get the passcode for your city. Then the day of the show you log on a couple of minutes before the floodgates open and lay in wait. You have be tenacious but you'll prevail if you stick with it.

Expect a total clusterf*ck (as Bob's presales always are) and to have stomach cramps while you're trying to get tickets. It's always a crappy experience until you get the confirmation that your order is in.

hmm...I have experienced knuckle-biting presales before. I usually wake with a stomach so nervous and then when the ticket link goes live, it is over so quickly! I don't think I have even been completely shut out. Do members here sell tickets (AT FACE VALUE) when they can't use them for whatever reason? What ticket outlet is used for the presales? Sorry for so many questions and anyone can feel free to answer!
