Is this because he does not want to do the long sets anymore or is it more of an artistic/creative decision?

Not that I expect you'd know the inner workings of the man. But, just in case you do, does he wear thin or thick socks?

As for reasons I can only guess, but my guess is it's to sell more tickets for shorter sets.

As for socks, I hear that he's still going barefoot. Inside those fancy cowboy boots, of course.

If we ever needed proof he is not married, this is it (if this is true - but I trust your sources... ). No one would put up with feet that smelly/mouldy. Not even Jabba the Hut.

I'm sure we have some ladies on here who will be more than willing to knit him some socks. Size 9, please. Just send 'em all off to the Sony headquarters in NYC in time for Christmas.

It is simply amazing the quantity and quality of special top secret information that is available to a few of the people here. I can't imagine how we might thank them enough.

My theory is that Stu has several user names here at ER and drip feeds us info. THAT is why Bob keeps him around, not for his smoldering stage presence.

Are you saying that Dr Filth is really Stu and the whole other persona he hides behind is just a sham?

Bangladesh.
Advice
Pack about five boxes of imodium.
It's easier to find a pub in the Antarctic.

That about covers it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Bob Dylan headlined the Saturday Isle Of Wight festival, but I would be surprised if he toured with Tom Petty.

I don’t believe the two bands or the crowds they draw would mix well together. Tom Petty shows are tailor made for the masses and Bob Dylan shows are Bob Dylan shows. It’s like putting a freak show section in the middle of Disney World… the different reactions would be interesting, but it wouldn’t make much sense.

I hope Bob Dylan just keeps on doing what he does. Either have no opener or a somewhat obscure opener that makes him and his band stand out more. Besides, the more actual fans at a show, the better.

I'm in a very strange mood tonight, my brother talked me into betting on the football. We have bet £200 each that Basel vs Man Utd ends in a draw. I don't know why I did it.
It was in Bangladesh I accidentally ate rat.

Very cool Crimson. Much obliged!

Classic memory: Standing in a government office in Dhaka years ago applying for a permit of some sort and reading the only poster on the wall. It said, "Bangladesh - Enjoy it before the tourists get here." I wonder if they ever came.

I think Dylan should maybe have a re-think for concerts this year. Not because the current step up is bad (far from it) or anything, but a slight change in direction could work wonders. Maybe less dates, a reworking of the setlist, a change in band personal?
