Because on Bill pages, it's written that the tickets were from 55€ to 216€, so i figured the 216 were for the front row. But maybe it was for VIP seats.
Of course i can not find my ticket!!

It was 160€ in the blue seats, according to the seating chart I kept. The whole front block was that price, VIP was somewhere else entirely and was yet more expensive.

Mine 55€, row 10, at the left part. A huge difference of price for a not so different place, isn't it?

Here, they talk about the show in Bilbao, but they don't know the day.

Is there no rumor of other shows in the UK or Ireland after the french shows?

Well, Hop Farm is UK exclusive on this tour.
Ireland might happen, but I have not heard anything. IF it happened, it would make more sense to go there before Hop Farm?

Depending on the source (there are a lot of press articles online about hop farm), Hop farm is either a UK exclusive or a UK Festival exclusive.

Remember Feis last year? Supposedly the only UK performance of the year. We were all proved wrong with the autumn tour.

So I guess there is still some hope for more UK shows.

I guess Bilbao will be the day before or after Bayonne. So, there still lacks some show between the 9 and 12th. Probably 10th and 11th. Italy? Spain?

@dundermifflin:
Yes, well, but Feis was the only UK gig on last year's summer tour, and the only one without the Knopfler package. I guess it's all down to hype and clever interpretation. However, on the Hop Farm website this year it says "UK exclusive" right next to Bob's name, so I guess for this tour, this will be it as far as the UK is concerned.

@GuillemTM:
Bilbao and Bayonne are too close to each other to play them on consecutive days. As far as I'm aware, they will not happen directly one after the other.

This year's schedule doesn't work by logic.

Cap Roig is just between Benicassim and Nimes.
At least this step fits perfectly in a logical trip.
Now the tour plan is still missing the dates after Montreux and before Benicassim.
Checking a map of Europe, we can draw a line and see some big cities on the route.
For example: Toulouse in France, Saragossa in Spain and Bilbao too, why not?
In case of Bilbao, there is a Festival running there since 12 to 14, no way Bob is playing on those dates, although an extra date, on the 11th, should make sense, it should not clash too much with the show in Bayonne nine days later.
My 2 cents.

The logic lasts until "G", then he starts drawing circles:

There's a festival in Bilbao during the 12th, 13th and 14th of July (Bilbao BBK live). So it would make sense to have Dylan on the 12th. But The Cure are already planned for that day...

He's not going to play five days straight without a break - not very likely. There are four shows 13, 14, 15, 16 July already.

Cap Roig - one of the first possibilities to hear new songs.
You read it here first!

I hope they do start trickling out new stuff in Europe. That will allow a little time for early metamorphosis of those songs by the time the band hits the shores of America later in the year. Energetic crowds like Belo Horizonte certainly help too.

Not only would it make five in a row like JP said, but both The Cure and Snow Patrol are much bigger draws than Dylan and both play the 12th. The 14th is the only day of BBK that could do with another big name, but that's Cap Roig for Bob. Also, he wouldn't fit in musically at BBK on any of the three days.

Just to throw a curve Ball into the discussion even though its already been discussed.

The links below suggest UK festival exclusive. There is yet hope for more UK show unless someone can prove us all wrong:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-1752589

http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2012/ma ... NTCMP=SRCH

At the same time NME say that its the only UK performance of the year:
http://www.nme.com/news/suede/62872

A lot of inconsistency out there, only time will tell.

Maybe they are holding off announcements for a period so that Hop farm can flog their tickets?

I'm very sure it said "UK exclusive" next to Bob's name at Hop Farm when his appearance was announced, however it doesn't say that now. Are there any proper rumors out there?

It is a UK Exclusive. He will not play any other concerts this year.

It would be nice to hear the new material this Summer before US, but highly unlikely. (Although you never know with his including "Make You Feel My Love" last night  )

Again, Benicassim also said it was Exclusive in Spain. And the same guy is behind the Benic festival and Hop Farm. So it's probabely the same contracts, and the same way to bypass the exclusivity. I'm not saying there will be other shows in UK, but if it was possible in Spain, it will be also possible in UK. In fact, Benicassim and Hop Farm are the same festival in 2 different places. They want to built a third festival in France, probabely next year or the year after.
